Finding Jesus

They looked upon you
Innocent babe
Kings showered you with gifts
They knelt and prayed before you
But knew not who you are

You walk among us daily
  With quiet humility
Healing the sick, raising the dead
Yet we know not who you are

You saved us from sin
Died on the cross
Showed love despite rejection
Still we know not who you are

In a blaze of Glory you
Ascended to the Father
Yet walk beside us day by day
But we know not who you are

But one fine morning
Your touch will reach our hearts
And we’ll sing praises to the King
Knowing….truly knowing_ Jesus,
Who you really are.
