Springtime
Tiny buds, petals sweet
Little hands pluck and tweak
Squirrels busy one more time
Gathering acorns in record time
Wildlife a-plenty with drowsy eyes
yawn and stretch in sunshine bright
On stiff new legs deer trip and fall
Cute and dear babies all
Green and yellow pink and red
Colorful rugs on hillsides spread
A fresh new dawn the earth reborn
A blessing indeed oh glorious morn
Such beauty so special so bright
Is to look at the world through
innocent eyes wide with wonder and dewy bright
As sunbeams dance in dazzling light
