Just as powerful as a CEO is the Dj,
underdog who sends a message to you.
Sharing something you relate to sticks,
turntables and lyrics can start a chant.
Instantly a bond is created with no alibi,
crowd control that’s as lethal as arsenic
enters eardrums changing the narrative.

Yard to be stomped hard wood harmony,
each foot adds sparks to an eclectic tune.
Let the rhythm accentuate that disco ball,
labor of love sent out a ‘May we all’
inspiring the floor to move like confetti.
Neat as a pin the spiral thrown is clean,
gaining traction as the beat’s scratching.

Fruitcake

You may say I'm crazy
but as it takes one to know one
do you have what I've got
if I am are you too
and am I nuts to think I'm not
the shrink he's not telling
despite all my yelling
he only asks how it makes me feel
it's quite a strain on the brain
is he really and truly for real
then again if I'm insane
as the earth is bipolar
it's no wonder
there are so many weirdos and whackos
in a world torn asunder
at least I'm not alone
I think you'll find
it can't be overstated it's overrated
sanity
it's all in the mind

Voices yelling

Voices yelling my joy they are selling pain begins dwelling deep in my heart I cry and I weep my face like a storm every day comes with rain am I even sane I wish to travel to a happier place but yet I face an awful place called real life you would think it was nice it’s not a little so I'll fiddle with a fidget feeling fear and im still here

Back and Forth

Back and forth
The words shoot across
Slicing through my pale quivering skin
Sometimes there’s no pause for air
As the hate spews from both sides
I’m torn between the love I created
And the love that I have chosen
There’s no winning tonight
And it’s only just begun

With every word you utter,
there you go you splutter,
thanks to my old ears,
I can hardly hear,
your yelling and ugly,
maybe dear your hungry.

I never argue with buffoons,
they'll waste your afternoons,
I've learned this over the years,
It's good that I can't hear,
so splutter away my dear.

Premium Member king of yelling out the answer

Danny was the king of yelling out the answer every time.
It made one of his classmates furious, let’s call her Clementine.
She was tired of him getting away with it from the teacher too.
That is not fair! She yelled to the old witch, Mrs. Mariah Lou.

Mrs. Lou was always letting him yell out, and it made her mad.
Clementine had to go sit in the office and it made her glad.
at least she did not have to hear the king of the answer yell.
The office was better than class, which was her private hell.

Premium Member In Praise of Yelling

Sometimes
it's good to give
yourself up in an heartfelt yell -
to find a place out of earshot
of others, a beach will do,
or better, a shoreline with rocks
and crashing waves,
or out bush where there is
nothing but wide open spaces -
and then take a deep breath
to fuel your loudest yell.

At first it will feel strange
to hear your own voice
rise unrestrained in air,
savage, primal, a sound coming
from the deepest pit
of your ancestral soul.
Keep yelling until you feel
the need subside
and a calm comes upon you.

You will leave satisfied,
still without answers and weighted
with all the problems
that you carried before.
There will be no sudden
enlightenment or beatific vision,
just a soulful peace purged
of all anger, only yourself,
stripped of pretense
and once more a reconciled
and humble child of earth.

Premium Member Gray Elephant

There's a gray elephant in the room
Out of mouth of babes truth zooms
Saying what everyone's thinking brain bloom
I only recall domestic violence as gloom

I was a tot when I walked up to demi-god
Could have been humbled by parental rod
I wanted to know why was he so mean to grannie
Why was it so loud why did he scream

Now that I am old I recall the light
From the bedroom that very night
Maybe forgiveness in her eyes
Maybe livid in his until my cry

He looked down as I looked up
Perhaps he found in me innocent love
He laughed and at that the yelling ceased
I was only two but he listened to me.

Janna

I’m sorry my mother yelled
And that it made you cry.
Come by again tomorrow
And I will protect you better.
I still want to be
Your big sister.

Yelling and Cartwheels

. for public domain and Kurt Cobain

I'm doing hand stands in the rain.
It's never going to snow again,
until December or late November,
but that's so far away,
so far away,
so far away,
so far away.

I'm doing cartwheels in the sun,
in t-shirts and shorts. It's so much fun.
Throughout the summer, no days a bummer,
but that's so far away,
so far away,
so far away,
so far away.

No one sees where I come from,
gotta go now, I'm on the run,
but listen away and have a nice day,
though we're so far away,
so far away,
so far away,
so far away.

Poetry is best spoken, or in this case, yelled.
Yelling works very well with Ezra Pound's Ancient Music

Premium Member Can Still Hear Mom Yelling - Hlm

winter comes quickly
one day all is pristine white -
cars snow covered ships

This is when mother made her robust stew
vegetables and beef in the pot she threw
the aroma filled the house
all were sniffing like a mouse
meat so tender we barely had to chew

we loved the gravy would dip bread to soak it up- till there was none left

Premium Member Yelling Bloody Murder

The Internet is down, it's the end as we know it
Life's not worth living, think I'll cash in my chips
Going to wander the streets
With rest of you geeks
Yelling bloody murder while whiskey I sip

Anger

Anger a fierce emotion,
Quietly seething the blood boiling,
Anger shows when upset,
It comes out in many ways,
Yelling, hitting throwing things,
A missile flying duck there are more to come,
A slap never solves anything,
Yelling just walk away,
Talk things through that's the best way.

Premium Member The Seminar Guy Is Yelling

The seminar guy is yelling at the teachers.
They are doing their best to ignore him.
He is twelve, and yelling without realizing
How irritating his voice is or how many he has already lost.
I know teachers. They do not enjoy wasting their time.
They are doing many things, showing him the tops of their heads.
It matters not. He is yelling, thinking he is teaching.
I am irritated that his loud obnoxious voice is coming through the walls.
Interrupting my typing, and my thinking.

Premium Member Youthful Yellow Yips Yelling Yahoos

Seriously serious she sternly spoke.
Tyrannical truth that tells terrible tales.
United underdogs urging unity.
Vicious violators vetoing votes.
Warning willing workers who wanted warships.
‘xtra ‘xecutions ‘xacted ‘xactly.
Yet youthful yellow yips yelling yahoos
Zealously zapping zesty zealots
