I feel I am Choosing Wisely

I have a little malady; it feels like leprosy or maybe it just looks like it
The recipient of chicken pox twice, slap cheek and now shingles,
I could spend my life being irritated, angry, lamenting my fate
They have not lasted five days, they have lasted five years

One day I said let’s ignore them, maybe they will

Pause, grasp the rhyme, and choose with woe..
Your choice will reflect how our friendship grows.

Finn Chose Wisely

Hank built the loveliest quirkiest cottage for his wife, Finn.
She had specific ideas, and incorporated each one in.
Everyone who saw it wanted one for themselves and asked.
But Finn said “no, this was a labor of love that Hank amassed.

Women there's many fish in the sea
All kinds for your open eyes to see
When your high tides come to rise and spree
With a right match just waiting to be
Yet the fish that's in distress and is not free
Is the one that drops you to your knee
Like, why, the forbidden fruits in a tree 
You fall

Every word you utter lingers in the air
As a bullet, an arrow, a flower, or a mystical love bead
So, make it something compassionate, empathetic and kind
This will make your sleep more restful, and it will bring you friends

I believe prayer is a messenger
