The Happy Wanderer
I like to wander near and far.
Just me and my little white car.
There are treasures to be found everywhere.
Just waiting to be discovered out there.
Soon I saw a little mom and pop store.
It was in a small house with a green door.
I was greeted by a jolly little old man.
He had a small green book in his right hand.
What can I do for you young man?
I will help you if I can.
I have this book, you will like it I bet.
So I said I don't know yet.
“Irish Blessings” was the title I could see.
For he was Irish as anyone could be.
For a few coins, the book was mine.
To be enjoyed in time.
I read it from cover to cover.
And enjoyed it like no other.
So as you can see,
I’m as happy as can be.
A kind word and a smile,
makes life worth while.
So be happy and smile.
For there is beauty in every mile.
-Leo Lefebvre, Author
My God, my God why have you forsaken me?
Lord with your hands
You created me
Placed love in my soul
And beauty in my heart
I come to you today
Shattered into a million pieces
Filled with fear and pain
Where is the road back to you?
I wait for your voice to guide me
And find only silence in answer
To my cry for help
My Lord my Lord why have you abandoned me
In my hour of need
The darkness grows around me
Even the stars hide their faces
Are you there Lord?
Can you hear me?
I am a small part of your universe
Did you forget me?
The wind rises
Here I am a voice whispers
Here I am
I turn and see him
A man sitting on a park bench
Smiling as if he knows a secret
I have heard your cry he tells me
Here I am, what can I do for you?
On that night when all seemed lost
I sat on a park bench with the Lord
Creator of the universe
And knew I was someone’s beloved
He came to me as a smiling man
To tell me I was his treasured child
All was as it should be
All would be well
What can I do for you to notice?
Does more of my red blood need to be shed and spread for you to notice?
Do I need to throw away more of myself for you to even give a thought?
I whimper in pain, weeping in my own sorrows.
Watching myself in the mirror in such disgust.
I hope someone hears, I hope they hear my cries and scarred screams.
Praying someone will walk past when I'm on my last gasp.
Maybe one day, maybe one day someone will...
But is it worth sticking around long enough to find out?
What can I do for you?
I know the troubles you have gone through.
Since the day you went out.
His scream and his shout.
The beers piled on the table.
Life was not stable.
Now since you walked away.
There is one thing I would like to say.
What can I do for you?
The drinking should stop, it's true.
But why
I honestly just cry.
Thinking of you all alone.
Always on your cell phone.
Please get help very soon.
You have a bottle gone before noon.
Do you know how much you mean to us all?
Please get help before you fall.
Love in our heart
Never far apart
We will always be.
Loving you unconditionally.
I will be your guinea pig I say.
What can I do for you today?
Wash the toilets? Clean the floor?
Paint that wall? Refinish your door?
I have arrived to work in a merry way.
Ready to have an absolutely fine Monday.
Just do any extra lunch duty, okay?
I wish I was back in home in every way.
Once a little goat with a small horn,
Wanted to become a unicorn,
She wished and she wished every night
And prayed and prayed, it might
Come true, I want to wish on a star,
So the next night they saw one far,
But although so bright
Gave off little light.
Look mummy at that grass over there,
Please don’t stare,
For they might run away, fairies
Right next to the bush with berries
I’m going to send them a whisper
Mummy kissed her, ooh your whisker
Tickles mummy, suddenly three
Fairies flew by her side what do you
Wish for most, as you are of the few
That never asks, whatever you wish,
I want to be a unicorn, please
They waved their wands with ease,
There stood the prettiest pink unicorn,
Gone was the small horn,
Replaced by a twirly one,
The little goat girl now an awesome unicorn,
Her star sign remained Capricorn.
She had a fluffy mane
And her eyes were blue, insane.
Oh fairies I love you so much
Your wands and their magic touch,
What can I do for you.
and you and you,
Listen to your parents and be a good girl,
And thus your mane will always curl!

They said "I am just a day
dreamer chasing the wind

The lone rose never asked for much
and never once complained…
She was happy when the sunlight reached her
and when her petals filled with rain.
She grew outside the young girls window
and always found a way
to stand a little straighter
when the young girl smiled her way.
Not once did the young girl forget her…
for every day she chose
to open her window, smile, wave
and say, “Good Morning!” to her rose.
And they were happy with their relationship…
It made the girl and her rose glow…
until the change of seasons
and the fall winds began to blow..
Soon it would be winter
When her single rose would die
and so the young girl and the rose
prepared to say goodbye.
“What can I do for you?” The young girl asked
“since you’ve given so much to me?
The rose had but one request
“Can you take me to the sea?”
“I’ve seen the sun, the moon the stars
I’ve seen the birds the trees and more…
but I would love once before I’m gone
if I could see the shore.”
And so they traveled to the shore
to where the ocean meets the sky…
and here they sat and watched the waves
and it was here they said goodbye.
Nina sent me ten ideas when she was laying in her wines.
Parmenter gave me terrific starts, each of them so fine!
What can I do for you dear?
I asked her, with true warm cheer.
Just keep writing stuff, she said, and keep it on the lines.
A small child will often dream
of far off places with kings and queens
Even a kingdom by the sea
A princess lying on soft pillows
Works in her garden
A small fairy would often visit
She would live on light & love
This was from up above
Wandering in an enchanted forest nearby alone
Cold hearts would drift there from the underworld
She twirled a stick in the forest
A zombie creature grabbed & bit her leg
She poked its nose with her stick
There after the princess grew very ill
Then the king paid her a visit
"My child what can i do for you" ?
Her parting words were," Capture the zombie and kill it".
Then she died
The king then summoned his troops
To do the noble deed and capture the zombie
Then finally corned this creature & killed it by chopping off its head
Now is was dead.
A monument was put in for the princess legacy.
Light & love would be etched from her dear memory.
THE BLIND BEGGAR
The blind man stood there begging as he had done before,
But something then was different with the coming of the Lord.
He’d heard about this person who healed the sick and lame,
And he was very certain He could do it again.
And so he cried for mercy; the crowd said, “Hold your peace,”
But he cried that much longer, he longed to be released.
Then Jesus stopped a moment and told the thronging crowd
To bring that poor, lost beggar who had cried very loud.
“What can I do for you, sir?” He asked so lovingly.
“Oh, Jesus, Son of David, I’d really like to see.”
Then Jesus reached to touch him and made his body whole.
“Your faith today is honored, and I have saved your soul.”
I once was like that blind man so burdened with my sin
Until I came to Jesus and asked Him to come in.
He took the blindness from me and I saw all things anew,
Yet what He did for me, friend, I know He’ll do for you.
He’ll take away your blindness brought on by all your sin
And take you home to heaven if you will let Him in.
Mon Dieu she shrieked, I watched him standing there,
Beneath the Gogh, the suit was Weatherill.
He sipped cognac (Eden de Gautier)
And on his arm some filly from Brazil.
You heard, of course, poor dear, she knew the drill.
What must she think: her dress, she wore Chanel,
The shoes, Vuitton, I thought were overkill
But then she smiled; I swear he almost fell.
Madame, the coiffeur calls please take the chair.
She feigns a smile, the fragrance tastes Patou.
He's suave, he knows, he gently combs the air
And asks, Madame, what can I do for you.
She flicks her hair as if she's in distress.
He knows she knows that men have died for less.

What can I do, for you are out of reach?
I weep and sigh in dungeon of my heart
I tear my clothes in anguish, I beseech
That of my misery you share a part
For I am here tormented in this place
I’m shackled to the wall of dark despair
While you roam free with sunshine on your face
You breathe the air of love without a care
And here am I in need of tenderness
I fear my death will come without a sound
This body long untouched by your caress
Will soon enough be lowered underground
I cannot live if passion is denied
There would be not a joy to see me through
Unending love must in my heart abide
And all I want and need is found in you
Yet, here am I, imprisoned in the gloom
For you have gone and left me sore in need
The flower of this love has lost its bloom
The crimson of its hue is what I bleed

A cute little girl enters the pet store
“What can I do for you?” Asked the store clerk
The little girl was missing some front teeth,
“A bunny wabbit”, she said with a smirk
We have lots bunnies’ right over here
How about that pretty fluffy white one?
That brown one looks like one you can cuddle
And that slick black one would surely be fun
Take your pick Honey; they’re really nice
Our bunnies are lovable as they get
Well, I’ve got to tell you the truth mister
I don’t think my pet python gives a ****!
