Loss of my life

All the stars start to shine

When you are around

When you fate away

Their shine goes away

When you fate away

My heart goes away

May healthy green always grow, blue waters stay their flow, bright skies daily show, and your heart remain the source of love I know.

Premium MemberGod's Purpose In Creation

Created for us with such velocity
A stage for life with such grandiosity
The stars, the planets, the moons God hurled
As all of creation he unfurled

And the grandest thing formed by God’s hand
His final creation was that of man
Vegetation, animals, and birds of the air
And then from man he formed woman so fair

He knew every aspect of his plan
We received intellect so we could understand
That he was our God and he’d always care
Wherever we went he’d always be there

He then gave man our free will and free choice
So each could have their own unique voice
Their own path to travel their own song to sing
Put in man's terms to do our own thing

So, lift up all voices and give to him praise
His son died for us then he did raise
All of his plans one day we will see
Our stairway to his presence for all eternity

A hand full of water

A hand in a stream, holds water all day.
But cupped and limited soon slips away.
The tree bears fruit and pleads to be eaten.
Not to be taken and money beaten.

Your property is theft, theft from yourself.
It gives away your inner wealth.
Time doth pass that's all it does.
Past and future, fiction stuff.

Premium MemberOur Walk Today

When Sara and I take our walk each day,
We usually go the same old way.
Today we decided to make a change,
We decided to make our walk free range.

We went to a park named Natural Springs.
It had a dog park and playground with swings.
We chose a trail with overhanging trees,
We had a full sun, but also a breeze.

I saw a small path that led to a stream,
But Sara said, “the path’s too extreme.”
I gave her my, I really want to look,
And she said, “I’ll sit here and read my book.”

I walked a few minutes, looking about,
Then thought, I’m not sure just how to get out.
It wasn’t long ‘til I found the right path.
I crossed the stream without taking a bath.

There was my Sara, as I topped the hill,
She told her new squirrel friend, “here comes my Bill.”
We shared my adventure as we walked away,
We were glad we tried a different way.

Premium MemberShampoo and Soap

    If shampoo and soap
      could wash away
the sins I may commit today

    I’d stand for hours
      beneath a shower
Anything so as not to pray

Premium MemberA Perfect Day

Trickling water in the brook,
Smiling faces take a look.
Little fish are everywhere,
Bare feet giving them a scare.

Splashing water on each other,
Standing near my smiling mother.
It’s such fun here in the stream,
Just like in my springtime dream.

Mother’s happy standing there,
Sunlight showing through her hair.
If she’d join us as we play,
It would be a perfect day.

Cancer

Children of the Moon
They go with the tides
It goes with their mood swings
In their shell’s where they hide

They nurture and protect
To a motherly effect
The crabs of the sea
They clip their enemies

So don’t ever doubt them
They’re truly precious gems
They make the fiercest friends
They’re loyal lovers til the end

June and July babies galore
The kind of people everyone adores
Treat them kind and then you’ll see
They’re the best people you’ll ever meet

Pisces

Most days they’re sweet
Most times they’re kind
A celestial magician
Their light leaves you blind

They love with their heart
They care with their soul
They like to escape
Until they feel whole

Neptune’s daughters
Can swim in rough waters
They can be sweet little mermaids
Or sharks that can slaughter

They’re sensitive and sweet
Some don’t even eat meat
Super friendly and wise
They have big soulful eyes

The artistic healers
The energy feelers
The escape artists
Your typical dreamers

Purple Silence

I was two years old
My mom got mad at me for crying
So she threw me in an ice cold bath

She turned the lights off
And she closed the door

I turned purple from screaming
But she chose not to hear me
That was my first time being scared of the dark

My tears fell into the water as I waited for her to come back

But then it was silent

My eyes look for her once more as I start to slip under..
I think I fell asleep because I don’t remember

Just as I start to close my eyes, I look up from the bottom of the tub and see light shining through the water

Then a face

As I’m brought back to the surface, I see my mother. I’m coughing up water

“Mommy…!”

She cried after that, I don’t know why
I hope I didn’t make her sad
I just wanted her to love me again

Premium MemberCircles Spread on the Surface

Circles spread on the surface
   And disappear in the pool
And do it so lightly - it must
   Be starting to sprinkle.

Where are the grayish clouds
I should see in the reflection?
Where are the tapping sounds
And the shift in the wind?

No - my eyes are dripping tears
   I didn't see coming.
Catch them - merciful waters -
And put them away from me.

You And I

In blue water I'm going down
swept away by the tide all sense left behind
in dark waters I might drown
caught in the current out of my mind
holding my breath and hoping
my love for you will stand the test of time
out of my depth and hanging on
for the day you say you are mine
in over my head how long can I tread
these waters for you
don't know what to do
what's to be done
I'm between the devil and...
deep waters still run

Premium MemberRaindrops on roses

The ocean, rivers and lakes.
All bring joy to me.
I live seaside, hear its call.
To be wet, wild, free.
Feeling so amazed.
To swim, fish, sail, gawk and walk,
With water I'm fazed.

Premium MemberSleep

Woken up, again I sleep
Sliding over waters deep
Cross the ocean goes my boat
Welters on in aimless float
Not a sign of land is seen
On the water splattered screen
Waves are raging all around
I don’t dream of solid ground
It’s an up and down ride
Out there and inside
There’s no story but a sleep
Not a tear left to weep.

Premium MemberDefective Goods

I filed a thirty page legal bill of complaint
about some things that aren't right. They certainly ain't.
I bought dehydrated water for a buck thirty-five -
how could a gentleman think to contrive
to sell me this product...without any instruction
(resulting in my home's near total destruction).
When I used too much water, it created a flood.
It flowed out of my house and turned into mud!
