Moving on surface waters
Playing on dream-stirred waters
Diving with stretched feathers
Blowing out soft lathers

Under the clear skies
Waltzing before my eyes
Above the blue skies
Images so deep, flaunting in my eyes

Up the streams they wail
Down the streams they sail
Above the strings they play
Below the springs they pray

Dance of the Swans
Trance of the wans
Swans under the blue moon dance
Clans of the half-moon's stance

Stepping From Fall To Winter

Stepping from fall to winter
is a difficult journey for some,
our minds are still living in orange
as our surroundings turn white,
leaving us confused and in fright.

The warmth of the mighty sun wans,
replaced by chilly and biting winds,
entering our hearts and bones to freeze,
an icy greeting which we try to ignore,
opposite of the sunny sun which we adore.

Embers and snowflakes become our song,
fireplaces are lit to keep us warm and toasty
while a monochromatic wonder exists outside,
dancing crystals flow to the solstice beat,
late night glowing logs no longer keep the heat.

Waiting for old man winter to leave,
counting the days seem to take forever,
animals are smart as they hibernate,
sleeping within a cozy and warm den,
as a human writes this poem with a cold pen.

October Night Stroll

Dusk

till dawn

as amber

night wans till its

darkest dark; this is

your vast celestial bliss.

There is a nip in the air,

stir of October autumn leaves

flickering a blaze flight as the wind

weaves through limbs of tree trunks and the scarf bound

about your raised neck. Into the brooding

shadows on a bittersweet brisk stroll,

black feline leads to take the way.

Hushed whimsical whispers from

mythological beast

prowling desiring

a place in your

bewitching

presence

too

Agglutination

I realize I have reached the age of life...
Where time is but of stress and strife...
Energy wans without direction...
Of useless knowledge regarding reprehension...
What we thought we knew was never the truth..
It was nothing but lies, truth is, they all took advantage of our youth...
Regardless of our inquisitiveness or level of education ...
We were lead to the slaughter without thought to ramification..
So now that we have reached the end of conclusion...
How and who will end all this agglutination ?????

The Protector

The Protector

The beauty lies beneath the catastrophe, a casualty our life does not have to be

Anger, fear and grudge, taking it out on innocent people, only God can judge

As the smoke wans, as the dust settles, a blanket of hope lays solitaire

beneath the ashes and rubble, there she lay wrapped tight as if she were in a

cocoon

Unharmed and untouched, the blankets protected the young

as if she were in the womb

Why Do I Try

Why do I try?
When trouble comes,
Never just passes by,
Attacking all not some.

I live in pain,
The emotional strain
Felt all in vain,
The pain never wans.

The first time I
Had experienced this pain;
I truly did try,
It was in vain.

I was trapped,
In a terrible nightmare:
My sanity snapped,
Left in misery, despair.

I tried to scream,
I tried to yell,
But being a dream,
Here I had to dwell.

I was but a lad,
No more than eight;
This part is sad,
For those who can relate.

On a horrible date,
I lost my life:
Safety came late
I dealt with the strife.

My brain was gone,
My sanity torn:
I was just a pawn,
I sat down to mourn.

I was hurt,
Solemnly I cried;
I tried to avert,
But inside I died.
Pain and Sorrow
Changed my life
They ruined my tomorrow
And added treacherous strife.

No one by my side,
I cried in pain;
It did not subside,
I was utterly slain.

I don’t know why
I even try:
If all I do is cry,
And on the inside die.

Why did I try,
To fight the bad dream;
When in all reality,
It’s worse than it seem.

The Sea

The Sea

Ever changing, ever moving,
Waters under the pull of a distant body.
Ever calming, ever soothing,
Maurarders of ever distant booty.

Try to tame lust for gold and nature,
Explore the Pirate in yourself and try to win.
The lust for treasure wans, what remains is rapture.
At six or seven fathoms you realize your sins.

A noble ship you believe you sail,
How you conduct your business tells the tail.
Treat honestly with all you trade,
and of the evil of the heart never be afraid.

Ever changing, ever moving,
Waters under the pull of a distant body.
Ever calming, ever soothing,
Maurarders of ever distant booty.

Too tired tonight to expand on this.
The morning sun always has first rights.
So to my bed I go... To give my pillow a watery kiss.
Before I find a waterfront bar and end a few fights.

Then that fickled Moon
Wans and grows_shines_glows

Glows night and day
Spiraling speed
Meets all our needs

Premium MemberA Leap of Faith

A gentle hush falls over the pond
The crickets cease a morning song
The jewel-toned feathers, swiftly flew
With feathered friends, soon out of view
He looks out high, from tree top place
His wings must plunge on empty space
The nest, a haven, he yearns to stay
To take this risk another day?
He fears his fate could be so bleak
His courage wans, but grace he seeks
With not a tender note or meek
I cheer from tail to beak, my song
"Take the leap, be brave, be strong!"
He takes the leap, to cheers that thunder
He flys, and eyes are struck with wonder
With fear now banished, new courage, wise
Below the earth in new disguise
His wings ascend to clear blue skies
He sees the world with brand new eyes
His flock ahead, at last his chance
To fly the heavens in timeless dance

Fickle Thing

Happiness is fleeting
escaping through the folds
raping through memory
breaking through holds

It erases the bad times
it eases the rough times
but is gone before a second
gone again before the clock chimes

What an elusive thing
this happy medium in itself
foreign yet familiar
dusty off the shelf

We clutch it when it strays near
we huddle it close by
yet it flees so elusively
gone in the twinling of an eye

oh what folly is this
to pursue such a thing
happiness is a mythic beast
a make-believe song that bards of old do sing

It stretches, it wans
it soothes, yet pains
for when we have it we rejoice
and when we lose it we lose our voice

it is fleeting and mysterious
i see no truth in its gleam
but once upon a time I had it
though I'm sure it was only just a dream

Close Captioned

I am truly sorry my love
my actions contradict my words of love
hypocrite I am an abomination I am
 I regrett sorely my indiscretions
my affection wans not but waxes hot
desire fuels my moves to bring you close
unpredictablility is my stongest asset
I wish so bad my actions were closed captions
so I look in myself and see what you seek
to comprehend what makes me meek
to find what makes me bold so my story unfold
to see what i truly mean when I say I love
you

The Fate of the Seductress

O' what wondrous visions doth this lovely woman dream
such wicked display of wanton perversion theme
She fancies a flirtatious rendezvous with immortal, untouchable death
but doth her soul ready herself to take that final trembling breath?

O' what wondrous visions doth this mortal thing weave
such flights of passion that bereft conscious leave
She tempts her end as the seductress doth pursue
in her base lust for destruction her damnation will embue

O' what wondrous visions doth this acursed mortal create
such pity is a thing that wishes with Death to consort and mate
She revels in her resplendent ravishment as her spirit wans
her body shudders upon her deathbed in final quaking pains

O' how callous and unwise was she to love the shadowed shade
with the wanton demons her lavished bed is now made
She tempted the fates with her fleshly spoils
and in the end her soul withers from the candle, shuns the light, and recoils.
