Wrapped in the solitude of one blessed night
the moon-eyed moon wanders lightly and alone
inside a vast and deep, darkly expansive sky
Dark cores of light glide
through a dormant ether,
as butterfly shadows play softly against
a dense canopy of leaves.
A still figure appears as if by chance,
underneath the cadence of the light,
swaying like wavering puppets on a string
she meditates on
the fast appearing stars ...
Creating magic from the tatters of the night
she's an invisible wand to the world
but unto thyself, she is as full, as the moon.
Rhyme scheme by Robert Frost, words by the author
The thing that makes me human
wants a positive bond.
That lady wisdom would illumine
me, giving me social acumen.
I try not to respond
to one who wants to fight,
preferring peace as in a pond,
and find that giving love is quite
like a magic wand.
Autumn faerie touched her wand to a yellow mum.
The mum’s colors turned crispy and an October brown.
Whether she retains her yellow next year is up to fate.
Some mums do, others do not, I never know which I have.
Autum faerie is aware, fully in the know, she rules October.
I can’t seem to find my wand,
without it this spell won’t bond!
I had it last night,
with those imps who bite.
I’ll summon help from beyond!
We feel within, bliss tingle,
with soma nectar dripping
through hidden in-form conduits,
making eye single.
Nature,store of magics
Different plants and trees are the magic wand, used to produce medicine
Which heals people from life threatening diseases
Mere walking barefoot on canopy
Shows soothing effect on soul
Fills us with zeal
When we talk with flowers
Loads of happiness showered
Loving mother nature
Means loving the almighty
Sadness overcomes me
From all this suffering I see
If I had a wand to hold,
I’d wave it to erase all the cold
By cold I mean the evil ‘rule’
Taking over, a reality so cruel!
The big picture is completely seen…
Its spreading grip is so mean
-Today, I hear my childhood friend lost husband, brother and mother in two weeks –
As the ongoing roller coaster of death peaks!
Only with faith can we withstand all this
Only simple things in God’s creation and love will bring bliss
Hold that shield against the fear
Fight the evil far and near
Because I tell you – it is here!
We must face it and in unity, adhere

If I had a magic wand I would make sure we would have the same skin color
It would be rainbow, but we could diversify it in these ways.
We could choose paisley, plaid, polka dotted, striped or heart skin.
Everyone’s hair would be white, we could dye it any color at will.
Including rainbow of course.
In December we would celebrate our neighbors, learning their customs.
Trying not to steal them, even when some of them would be fun to steal.
We would share foods from all of our cultures, especially cookies and fudges.
We would dance in the streets, and agree to disagree happily about music.
We would have a group hug.
If I had a magic wand I would give people a glimpse of their true self.
So they would be receptive to other people’s customs and habits.
Not merely tolerating each other’s eccentricities but appreciating them.
Because they would be living their soul dream,
and they would want others to live as their true selves also.
I would gladly do this for the world, if I had a magic wand.
It is just a simple hole in the wall wand shoppe, the older lady said.
We smelled the magic in there, and I felt a tiny thump on my head.
It’s a cat, and it looks vicious whispered my cousin, Old Ripe Red.
Too busy to care, I asked if I could sample a bit of fresh pumpkin bread.
Oh, sure, the older lady said. She was not wearing a cape or hat.
Is she a witch? Hissed my scaredy cat cousin, Little Timmy Pat.
Who cares? I asked. I plunked myself down in a closet beside a bat.
The bat flew past me and chased off the happy hat-sitting cat.
Would you like a job, Dearie? The old lady asked, looking at me.
I said, “Would it include pumpkin bread and hot lemon tea?”
She nodded her head, and I asked how much magic there would be.
That would depend on your gifts, so I said, “You just hired me!”
i do not know how we got here
it is weird how we went from loathing each other to loving each other
i guess it was an attention thing when we were kids
however, we grew up, and our views and opinions of each other changed
we found ourselves at a pastry shop
we found ourselves just driving to the lake
we found ourselves sitting on a bench on some trail watching the sun go down
we were suddenly all nice and sweet to each other
we actually both wanted to puke
then love rung bells and our hearts grew wings
we have been elevating and levitating ever since
it has been quite the ride and quite the journey
then again, i can't imagine experiencing the twists and turns with anybody else
Shoots, once tender and frail
imbibe the nectar of nature
Sunshine, rain together dovetail
fashion flora and fauna so pure
Hearts leap, rapid beats
Aromas fragrant, springtime sweet
April waves her magic wand
Lily-pads glisten down by the pond
If I had a magic wand
I’d stupefy my enemies into becoming friends.
With me and with each other.
I would wave it around in New York City
And chant words that would spread love and hope
From that city to Tokyo and back.
I would build the homeless homes with it
and I would show them how to plant gardens,
So we could feed the third world countries.
If I had a magic wand.
Tides of love,
Waves of passion;
Soul has rise,
To the skies.
I see light,
When he's walking;
I see fire,
When he smiles.
Life's divine,
Love is leading;
Many stars,
Shining out.
Magic wand,
I am pleading;
Place my heart,
In his heart.
bare tree limbs and trunk
winter wizard waved his wand
gifted a white coat
A young witch in need of a wand
Searched the pockets of a young blond
She found a snake
That spit a lake
Then shrunk and did not respond.
