Lost

Wondering worlds look back, and validates the earth's self-esteem
Visually realizing that people are traumatized, wondering what happened to their dreams.

Because there minds, which constitute for lost time, and people who's sitting around, trying to make a sound
Perplexing to an idea while wondering if the earth is flat or round.

Thinking that the frequency is going to stand still
But it vibrates your body and formulates your mind with a visual sex appeal.

But we continue to create and lose faith because common sense is becoming to eminent
Were everybody wants money, looking to lust, and it's not making any sense.

So we give the world back its power, and then lose an hour that becomes the darkness in your mind
Causing the sun not to shine, while you're stuck in a box with lost time.

Tears Disguised as Raindrops

A girl with looks like yours,
she must be on a mission 

A pretty face 
that could flip a bias 
before even knowing it existed 

Takes for granite everything,
and owes everyone apologies 

But guess who’s never looking back
She says she’s never looking back for better

Oh, she’s grown from then
and never looking back 
gives her the time to discover 
new opportunities ahead of her 

Her biggest weakness,
not her lack of discipline 
it’s the world she validates 
within the head on her shoulders

Endometriosis Awareness, collaboration with The Silent One

Cramps creeping and crawling, 
an unwelcome reminder.
Why does my body betray 
me like an unfaithful secret lover, 
chaining me to my bed.
When did my uterus become my enemy, 
even the pills offer no sympathy.

As a contradiction of contractions,
crush my organs like sharpened 
shards of glass, these strange 
territories tighten like heavy torture, 
as linings of sore pelvis feel 
a tugging pain of shame.
Unable to distract this 
typhoon-like monstrosity,
I'm a hostage to 
this turbulent intruder.

For those who question body 
frames that do not beam, 
my frowns are not an option,
they are a veil to the weight 
of excruciating fatigue 
that feeds the sanity in me.

There's no 'super human' strength 
left to curl my fingers into 
brass knuckles holding my 
burning edges in peace.

Drained by the cries that 
crack the surface of my womb, 
agitation is expressed 
in begrudging outbursts!
Unexpected and unpredictable 
pain is a cureless curse, 
behaving erratically within 
a finely constructed system of tubes.
Once again, I wonder if 
this shall be the month that
validates my womanhood.

Zen Mode

bliss currents peak 
eyes clench shut

we are definitely
out of the book

no scripture validates
the pulsations imbibed

the external recedes
we dwell in silence 

alone with this secret
hidden in plain sight

within

Spinster

The leaves dancing on the trees. The crinkling steps, the gusts, the natural silence. The unimposing mountains. Laze. Existence that validates itself. Ephemeral, cyclical, beautiful. An old distant friend that you may never truly know. 

I love you because what else would I do

The Way of It

It’s thunderstorm country around here. 
They roam the boiling, hot, southern skies
on legs of lightning, like dark, angry trolls. 

My Chinese roommate is impressed with them 
because as menacing and mountainous and electrical 
as they seem, through the trees whip and the rain 
lashes - like special effects - no real damage is done. 

Love is like that, a circus briefly coming to town, 
that scintillates, palpitates, irritates or validates
- a carney-call with the urgency of a sale. 
“Run away and join the show,” it whispers.

Love is both less than it seems and more than it is.

Divine Intervention and the Tv Preacher

~ It justifies his predatory gains
since God, Himself, has touched him with His hand,
He claims The Blood instills his mortal veins,
but emptiness resides within this man.

  Through pious tithes, eternity is bought,
it validates all acquisitions schemed.
Through righteous cause in acquisitions sought,
His touch has blessed all earthly realms redeemed.

  But God condemns such greed that fills a heart 
with beats of mere delusional conceit,
and, in retort, His penance shall impart
and let the podium ring bittersweet.

    True virtue and morality detest
       such acquisitions gained at His request.

confidence pervades
   intending to regale
in pomp displayed
     in pageantry

a mere pretence
    with conceit
its folly
is
  dismayed
such innocence
        to see
conveyed
& prevails
   midst the tide
sufficient
    heretofore
  validates the sense
of
zealous appetite
   doomed to share

a shadow remains
    the quest is
is stilled

THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE without grammatical symbols the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and respond thus making the form a two way interplay and often a unique interpretation by the enigma so derived

She Thinks She Knows Me

This stranger thinks she knows me
We met a month ago
She is not a good listener; talks nonstop

She is making some wild statements now about me
Mostly generalizations about older women
I am in the next room rolling my eyes

No one in the teacher lounge validates her suspicions
I have worked with most of the others for five years
They do know me

She drones on about me, making weird assumptions
I am amused that she has not noticed their nonresponses. 
Not a listener or an observer I guess.

Existence

FLOWER MY LIFE 
BLOOMETH FOR SCANTY 
BEARETH THY CHARM 
TURNEST TO REALITY.

MATERIAL THEE WORLD 
MATERIAL THY MATES 
IMMORTAL EXISTENCE 
YET NONE WHO VALIDATES .

DUST I'D TURN TO 
DUST I'D BE 
DUST I'VE COME FROM 
SO MY EXISTENCE SHALL BE .

Flinching Happens

I have lived my entire life suppressing squeamish hurls.
My cringe that never ends startles, falters and recoils.

I would like people's internal body substances properly contained
but cannot even escape vile as piled by family and pets in upsets.

Slithering, slimy reptiles are so very, entirely ugly
their looks even hurt the feelings of their mommy's.

Televised close-ups of intrusive surgeries are so yucky
I must close my eyes to keep funky from my tummy.

Someone screaming terror, alive and sobbing in a coffin, 
puts my sanity through a horrendous, endless haunting.

In public I cringe straight to furious seething when
an adult fist threatens an innocent little her or him.

Flinching happens, sometimes accompanied by a scream
and while it's not great, it at least validates my heart rate.

B E L I E V E

Being your own best advocate, helps you to advocate and love others.
Enthusiastically sharing your assets, talents, experiences and excitement, 
Lifts others up, by showing them that it is all right to share their own truth.
Ignoring people who take too much time or attention, saving yourself.
Energetically seeking your own spiritual truth by following your heart.
Vigorously validating tender heart-felt feelings that crop up, helps you to retain  
Excitement, and validates what you BELIEVE is in your soul.

Burn the Candle At Both Ends

Burn the candle at both ends,
Using the fire deep inside;
The desire to do the task
Is ignited far and wide.

To live at a hectic pace
Is just having a hard time;
The volume of the duty
Is like a mountain to climb.

Long hours work without rest
Makes us real vulnerable;
Both body and mind may be
Exposed or susceptible.

Working late into the night
Shows earnest, zeal, and ardor;
Starting early in the morn
Even validates vigor.

Let's serve God with all our might,
From dawn till the sun descends;
Every moment of our lives,
Burn the candle at both ends.

Board Games

As parents officiate,
Delegate,
Yes, and even participate.
We fascinate,
As we motivate,
Our children to co-operate,
And concentrate
Leading their minds to contemplate,
Formulate,
And evaluate
That which helps learning accelerate.
As children mature 
More complex board games build character
Along with the art of how to communicate
As well as how to be considerate.
This shows with family, playmates,
And even classmates.
Sportsmanship is why the loser must 
Congratulate
The winner for being fortunate.
The loser must never underestimate
The opponent which validates
How children relate
And appreciate
The way we educate.
As our children walk down the aisle to graduate
Parents silently say check mate.

The Next Day

The next day,
Filled,
With the dreams,
Of uncompleted history,
Promises hope,
And time,
Except,
You have things to do,
Others need you,
Depending,
Requiring,
For their absolutes,
You are a means,
To their end,
A helpful partner,
To their process,
You drift,
Through the day,
The week,
The year,
Even the leaves,
Get their days,
Of green and yellow,
But not you,
You wait,
You muddle,
Bask in the glory,
Of busyness,
So active you are,
Getting things done,
Truth teases,
Scratching,
At the closet door,
It hangs,
Unwrinkled,
Waiting to be worn,
Because it was made,
Just for you,
It's comfy,
Regal, even,
The world awaits,
Your cloak,
Your stroll,
Down the runway,
To record,
What's to come,
And that's your dream,
A designer's sample,
The glimpse,
That tells the story,
The next day,
You are scheduled,
To appear,
Present your case,
No jury,
No judge,
No verdict,
An opening argument,
Your evidence,
Which validates,
You,
Being,
Here,
Wasn't a waste after all.
