She Thinks She Knows Me

This stranger thinks she knows me We met a month ago She is not a good listener; talks nonstop She is making some wild statements now about me Mostly generalizations about older women I am in the next room rolling my eyes No one in the teacher lounge validates her suspicions I have worked with most of the others for five years They do know me She drones on about me, making weird assumptions I am amused that she has not noticed their nonresponses. Not a listener or an observer I guess.

Good point, JCB. This is a snake, and they're underfoot! Totally great you can share the betrayal here. (PS is listening)

She will not listen dear Caren, because the more she knows you the more she will get insecured.

That is true; and I have moved on to a different place of work, so now she will never know me at all. Sigh.
