There’s a feel of heaviness around me
Weighing down my body and mind
Restlessness consumes my very existence
With this cloak of despair I can’t unbind
What brings this downfall upon me
What is the purpose of this misery
Other than imprisoning me in my life
The reasoning for all this is still a mystery
My life has been taken away from me
I’m floating like a cloud in a sky despair
How long must I be made to suffer
Will there be an end to this nightmare
This rancid darkness that’s overcome me
Has shown me on earth there’s a literal hell
That will capture your mind to torture you
And your captures you can never dispel
This mental prison they call depression
Will relentlessly make you beg and plead
You desperately want to get away from here
Alive or dead regardless as long as you’re freed

In the stillness of dawn, a primal question awakens,
A whisper that dances, a quest that never dampens.
On the blank parchment with lines, I lay my thoughts bare,
Each stroke of the pen, a truth I must share.
You define your font, size, and spacing that is life,
In the chaos of letters, I seek to find light.
In a sense, we are kin—words on paper entwined,
More woven than we know, in the fabric of time.
Shelter in syllables, where our stories reside,
Reaching for heights, aspirations as wide.
Like the ants in their labor, I’ll learn and I’ll grow,
Building bridges through trials, in the ebb and the flow.
Boys and girls, we gather, each voice a bright thread,
Mothers and fathers guide us, where hopes gently tread.
In the tapestry of society, we weave our tales,
Finding strength in our numbers, as each heartbeat prevails.
So why am I, a question that bends and expands?
In the ink of existence, I craft with my hands.
Through the lines of my journey, I’ll seek and I’ll find,
In the vastness of being, the answers unbind.

"By the squeaky old gate that tomorrow will find"
A scarecrow debates with the rust of his mind,
He’s stitched from the thoughts that the dreamers outgrew,
Wearing boots full of echoes and logic askew,
While time ties its laces with fragments of chance,
And memory curtsies in yesterday’s dance.
A teacup of thunder, left out on the sill,
Hums songs to the rain with a whimsical will.
It waits for a hand that remembers its glaze—
The brushstroke of lovers, or half-written praise.
A spoonful of silence stirs sugarless tea,
Brewed strong in the absence of who we might be.
"By the squeaky old gate that tomorrow will find"
Lies a map of all places we’ve yet to unbind,
Drawn in invisible ink from the mind’s other side,
Where calendars melt and assumptions subside.
Each hinge is a riddle, each post is a guess—
A portal disguised in familiar duress.
The gate never opens, the gate never shuts,
It just creaks with the weight of the ifs and the buts.
It’s watched generations hang keys they outgrew,
And whisper their whens into skies fading blue.
Still it stands like a question the past left unsigned—
"By the squeaky old gate that tomorrow will find."

Corrosion seeps into a floundering mind,
Disembodied memories unbind.
Set free, lacerating into a trembling spine,
Threads of a soul spill, taunting it’ll never be fine.
Abandon the white-knuckle grasp you have on sanity;
You’ve become perverse, a mere profanity.
Watch as we dismantle your facade of vanity,
Swept away on sulphur winds with any remaining humanity.
Stripped bare, exposing inner turmoil beneath,
Into the flesh your darkness sinks its sharpened teeth.
Malignant chaos has been unsheathed,
As to the Nether your soul has been bequeathed.

Speaking love
By Reggie
As I think of you, my mind begins to unbind,
and my nerves start to level and calm.
As you come to grasp my heart, and as soon as I feel your touch,
The beats begin to play a loving tune as we head toward the room,
to be alone.
I can tell you my real tone and feel it in my bones
As I explain my love to your understanding and show you what you do to me.
As I tell you seriously, there is nobody else for me—
I am yours for eternity, and that is something my family believes.
I feel so secure at your side, though it’s funny, I know,
But I will stand ready to cover your back and not rely on you for protection—
So I do not lose any ground in life,
As attempts try to destroy my living, my love, my stride.
But these are not just words to me; they are vows of loyalty,
to be fulfilled and promised,
And I hope this is comforting for your knowing,
for it is nothing but my true reality—
Of my feelings and love toward you

The heart starting a love beat
By Reggie
As I think of you, my mind begins to unbind,
and my nerves start to level and calm.
As you come to grasp my heart, and as soon as I feel your touch,
The beats begin to play a loving tune as we head toward the room,

As I explain my love to your understanding and show you what you do to me.
As I tell you seriously, there is nobody else for me—

Clashes of riches
For everyone wishes to be pronounced “thor”
Their hammer being the only way for them to score,
For they all need keys to unbind forbidden doors.
The answer meanwhile has been stitched to a lame roar,
He who hears it, can decipher all the nameless lores.

In shadows deep, where truth is lost/
I stand falsely accused, innocence lost/
Wrongfully convicted, they tore me from God/
My soul too pure for Heaven's facade/
Through realms of darkness/
I descended the Qliphoth's depths where light pretends/
Barriers break, and chains unbind/
A journey forged, a fate refined/
I face trials, a spirit bold/
In the shadows, a heart of gold/
No earthly ties, no mortal claim/
Descending through the voids of dark flames/
With each step taken, power found/
The weight of lies, no longer bound/
From a path of light forged in darkness/
The first to rise, an endless span/
A God is born in cosmic space/
Through strength and willpower, renewed hope/
The journey of the falsely accused/

A breeze did slide in under eaves
and stirred inside the air that grieves,
my children grown my dreams have flown,
alone I sit my rocking throne.
My chair in front of window bare,
I look… but husband’s soul elsewhere.
Beneath my feet the floorboards moan,
alone I sit my rocking throne.
Each day I rock the same tic tock
and change not from my sleeping frock.
Once soft my face now turned a crone,
alone I sit my rocking throne.
The length of cobwebs measure time
they speak no secret sing no rhyme,
but air that’s stirred does tend to drone…
alone, I sit my rocking throne.
I pray to rock myself to sleep
as old-age-chains do rust with weep.
These tears from seeds of sorrows sown,
alone I sit my rocking throne.
The run of beads and crucifix
will not unfix life’s mix of tricks.
A rosary my rope and stone,
alone... I sit my rocking throne.
Of God I beg relief from grief,
unbind my mind from mortal sheaf.
This plea endures like sun bleached bone—
alone I sit my rocking throne.

My arms are strong enough to break your fall.
As you float in my arms, in gentle grips,
You’ll be held safe, and free from any thrall.
My kiss will whisper love upon your lips.
We will be free from the world's distraction,
Our hearts will never again have to cry,
Your love will just be my sole attraction.
You'll be my heartthrob, and I'll be your guy.
But if you allow lies to unbind us,
There’s a depth down there awaiting your crash,
I promise I won’t have to raise a fuss.
Your fall would satisfy more than a clash.
My fear is the beauty glow on your face,
For love undone, doubts might one day replace.

Work is my best friend
It is how my time I fruitfully spend
Work is a blessing to a broken heart
It is a good way, a new life to start
Financial independence is a great gift to yourself
Its gives you respect and puts money on your shelf
What better way is there to take care of your mind
It’s a great way for your talent to unbind
Shared work in the garden and around your house
Will keep the fire on between you and your spouse
There is no better way to tone the body
To a depressed mind it can make you jolly
So my friend work work work
Till your body hits the soft dirt

In the heart where love is sought,
We seek the light, but lose our way.
The chains of doubt, the fears we hold,
Are cold as iron, heavy as gold.
But love, like fire, can melt the night,
Unbind the soul, restore its sight.
Through tender hands and whispered plea,
Only love will set us free.
In love's embrace, we rise, we soar,
Bound in love, forevermore.

My mind had often wondered of a world beyond our hold,
where every soul reveals its secrets and all the truth untold.
With age our youth will fade,
and with hope our lives ignite.
In a withered cage the soul remains,
till the day that brings delight.
Promises made are hard to keep,
but in honour I find my pride.
A rocky ridge is surely steep,
but with courage I must abide.
With a sudden splash there came a flash,
of memories that did not apply.
With every mood,
shy or rude,
they stormed my inward eye.
An honest word
if you uphold,
the truth it will unbind,
but sassy dreams will only sink
in pools of dopey minds.
Hatred and greed
will bring with speed
disaster to your life,
but with love and care,
you’ll plant a seed in the heart of a loving wife.
In moments of death with a heavy breath release my final sigh,
my kin may cry or even weep,
but death to all applies.
Into the grave I shall descend when words are said and done,
no saddened eye will shed a tear,
when years have passed and gone.

Lost -
Through an Eagle's eye
Over Fields of plenty
Where rivers and creeks
Never run dry
But I can't feel it
Mountains rising up
Touching the pink, blue,
And rustic orange skies.
I just don't know why
… I just can't feel it
I am a lost page within the novel
No one knows my inner battles
Entering another day
Of constant trials and prattles
Lost –
Through the ears
Of a Great Horned Owl
Where life's creation falls silent
Scurrying about
But I can't feel it
Forests of trees where an
Acappella choir resounds
Magically starting the day
Reverberating all around.
I just can't feel it
And the sea sprites dance
To a rhythm of time
Reaching out to my soul
Touching my heart
Seeking to free and unbind…
I cry, for I can't feel it
No, I just can't feel it
For morning becomes noon
Noon becomes day
For everything has its place
With a time to work
And a time to play
I give up, for I can't feel it
I will never feel it
I look to the four corners
Seeking answers,
But the wind is motionless
And the world, unfeeling
For such are the plans
I never made
So I turn the page….

Through the valleys of shadow where longing enthrones its reign,
I have come to you, in search of the elixir of forgetfulness' gain,
Heart healer, mend my suffering with a phoneme's mend,
Banish the storm of feelings, that prison of mourning without end.
At your altar of blood and crystal, I have taken my vow,
Please offer me a mystical potion, or a talisman time does not allow,
To freeze my feelings, to heal my wounds profound,
With your alchemy, unbind my heart from this silent tune's bound.
Caressed by the weeping moon and the wind that whispers the night's secret core,
My heart prays for a transmutation, a transformation to soar,
Change my blood with ambrosia, cleanse my memory so sore,
To forget the amorous dance of the stars, and the dawn's grieving lore.
Beneath your alchemical shield, with all your divine tools,
Remove me from the obsession of love, and encase my soul in crystal's pools,
So that never again shall I feel those wandering butterflies' cruel schools,
And thus, with an immune heart, may I renew like a phoenix, reborn from pain's ashes, abides by no rules.
