Treasure Trove Of Hope

 

I inherited from my father
a treasure trove of hope.
As I was in the twilight zone of content life
I wanted to sell the jewel
to someone who gave the highest price I wanted.

 After many had walked away, 
not buying at my quoted price,
a sullen man readily purchased without bargaining bout.
As he was leaving I asked

Hidden within sight 
someone's talents calling out 
look at me, look at.......

attic holds years of clothing 
file cabinet nightmare

The treasure trove’s buried, beloved     	
Goodness gracious, I am ready, rapacious    
Dig daring, night and day, darling       
There’s gems, gold to have, hold in our nest egg  
You are right, Rene’.  Why wait?       

A Living Heart

The heart is a treasure trove 
It is the communication point with God
It is where God lives
It is the prayer room
The receptive point of the
The Holy Spirit
And must be at its best 
To attract the blessings of God
And so guard your heart jealously 
God give us a hearing heart that cares
A heart that does not

knobs but 
they don't
help to
open

it is a chest but
not a chest of
drawers since
there is only
one drawer

but no not
a night
stand
not a
one

there she is before
me as i scratch my head
though i know not to use that

but in fact
i do solve
and come
up with

sits by my feet

The Enlightened Trove

B roken heart crumbles into a mass of dark debris
R emains there in the shadow of deep depression
I mmersed in the desolate desire to once again be
N othing but what it was before the percussion
G lowing like a sparkling star for all others to see.

M ind in ceaseless turmoil sinks in dense despair
E nters a

A Treasure Trove

Yesterday's tempest eroded the shore
uncovering part of a treasure trove.
For we found a ring with a crimson stone
and a few coins exposed near the mangrove.

My daughter fell in love with the prospect
of a rich harvest, and ran on ahead.
For that ring, forgotten for untold years,
held hope, and helped her enthusiasm spread. 

In the misty fog,

Quaint Treasure Trove

An ivory castle of delightful dreams
that holds on the memories of lost love.
            A token of remembrance, a golden requiem
                        

My Treasure Trove

There is a little room in my house
one which I call my very own
it’s where I go to spend with myself
just to be quiet and have time alone

It’s such a real treasure to me
just to be there and do my thing
listen to music, write my poetry
really relaxing to feel real swing

Lock down the LIMPING GROVE.
PIRATES have stolen the TREASURE TROVE.
I know all about the garden shed, how you
Hide and make your bed.
Watching with a whimsical stare he replied
I know nothing of these TRAVESTIES.
HERE  are SOME FACTS you MAY not know:
Tedious TEASING TUSSLES to taste the
Truth.
Merciless MUSING knows what treasures
You have stolen, then you will
