Treasure trove

First crush,
Palpitations.....
A blush !

Passion,
Reverberates......
Ashen!

Love....
Superfluous.......
Trove.

The treasure trove’s buried, beloved
Goodness gracious, I am ready, rapacious
Dig daring, night and day, darling
There’s gems, gold to have, hold in our nest egg
You are right, Rene’. Why wait?
Truly this till’s our Honeymoon Hill
To yearly yearn for a real return

Treasure Trove

We laughed so long and so loud
Our only witnesses were the clouds
You jumped up and shouted, Yes!
That was you, at your best

We thought you had snagged a bass
It could have been a whale
That brim was so tiny
In unison, we all fell

Thinking back on that time
Finding this beautiful treasure trove
Good thing we caught four brims today
We can now fire up the stove

Floating on thick air Bringing life to my words Hidden in my treasure trove Seeds are deep inside Poetry that I’ve written Is alive with every breath… …Guidance of the heart Holding my greatest asset Poetry is my treasure Wields the sword of life Sharing those feelings therein Emotions conjure desire

a blazing red sky romance whispered on the wind. . . . our island retreat strolling hand in hand along a secluded strand. . . . the brink of passion as long sun-warmed waves crash against the ocean’s edge. . . . we fall to the sand blissful on the beach true feelings at last revealed. . . . a treasure trove found Written by Andrea Dietrich for the "Treasure Trove" Poetry Contest of Linda-Marie The Sweetheart of P.S.

The heart is a treasure trove
It is the communication point with God
It is where God lives
It is the prayer room
The receptive point of the
The Holy Spirit
And must be at its best
To attract the blessings of God
And so guard your heart jealously
God give us a hearing heart that cares
A heart that does not conceive evil
A heart that hears the voice of God
A heart that hears the voice of the Holy Spirit
A living heart does not die
It lives forever

Trove

they do have
knobs but
they don't
help to
open

it is a chest but
not a chest of
drawers since
there is only
one drawer

but no not
a night
stand
not a
one

night stand
yet nevertheless
there she is before
me as i scratch my head
though i know not to use that

to think with
but in fact
i do solve
and come
up with

an answer as she
sits by my feet
i have the key
to her lock
for she

yes is a chest
but for sure
a treasure
chest and
