I. Centipede Multiplicity
One day, a little curly dog treed
an unsuspecting centipede,
forgetting all about the others,
his one hundred faithful brothers.
Soon, the curly dog would greet
ten thousand angry little feet.
II. Caterpillar Paralysis
Can I tell you a stranger thing than this -
a caterpillar suffered paralysis -
or was she just a chrysalis?
It came about, by and by,
that she became a butterfly.
III. Snail Presence
He was alone,
but the sun shone.
There he stood.
He felt good.
He had no feet,
but felt complete.
A slow glide
felt right inside
for a snail,
just out of jail.
If we both have fourteen lines, and you do one sixteen-line,
then we have achieved success in writing the perfect sijo form,
perfected the form, not its content, where the best will be.
More than just word pages
It’s a read for all ages
Lessons learned and experiences gained
Theory through the journey
Adventure beyond compare
Truth and mysteries foreseen
Sentences overflow
You come to know
Like Flood Gates let out
Stories near and far
Beyond one’s own belief
You will learn to understand
Through the atmosphere of the mind
It doesn’t matter soft or hardcover
You will begin to discover
Look and observe
One step higher in intellect
Awareness takes effect
Illusions full of illustrations you wouldn’t expect
The beginning to the end
Never is a pretend
Testimonial open up
Open book straight line
Words and sentences and much more combined
Read out and let knowledge push on.
Joyful spirit, bright and bold,
Outstanding tales yet to unfold,
Sunlight's warmth, a story told.
Elegant grace, a gentle sway,
Poetry's dance in bright display,
Harmony's song to light the way.
Inner strength, a radiant gleam,
Nurturing dreams, a flowing stream,
Eternal hope, a vibrant theme.

Acrostic in Tercets (Birthday of Josephine G. Morales)
Jesus in toga or tunic
Wrote notes that use symbols runic
But Trump Musk and Vance
Don loose yoga pants
To hide now each is a eunuch
Where are you my Bluebird?
Don't leave me again
Sometimes you go quiet
And I don't know when,
Or if, you will come back
Perhaps not this time
And I'm left all alone
With a pen and a rhyme
I give it my all
I give it my best
It's just not the same
My heart doesn't rest
For when you are present
The words, how they flow
I cannot contain them
You're so pretty, you know?
Cold, cold morning
Dawn's first light
Lots of different dreams of you
Experienced I last night
Some were sweet, romantic
Long walks on a beach
And some were pretty frantic
Of those I cannot speak
The path to us together,
The road I want to go
It's hard to walk without you
I'll do my best to though
I hope that someday comes to pass
So love can sprout and grow
And once again springtime will bloom
In a heart that lies fallow
Christmas tablecloth
Red mugs, hot chocolate
Cinnamon candle
We, so lovingly
Just like kids, dunk marshmallows
Sniffing the candle
Beneath the table,
Our feet do a romantic dance
Quite a holiday trance!

You’re an inspiration of God’s grace.
It shows all over your smiling face.
Such bewilderment and dynamic amazement
Touching humanity with such ordainment
You’re an aspiration from God’s dynamic place.
Where birds, bees, flowers, and trees embrace.
Such unity of oneness uplifts precious souls
Reaching heights, yet never told, now unfolds
You’re a supplication from God’s vibration.
That which touches creation with astounding dedication.
Springing forth life, multiplying, astounding, jubilation
Cherubim celestial celebration of angelic enunciation
You’re a quilted tapestry of God’s precious love.
The heart of humanity unfolds such a majestic dove.
Where have you been? Behind which cloud?
Ah—enlightenment seen! A marvelous vision unshroud!
You’re, you’re, you're…!
You're...You're...You're...!
