Notes About The Poem

Rainbow Bridge, A Haiku Trilogy

Raibow Bridge, A Haiku Trilogy

We found you,dear cat.
‘Lovey’.dead you, beauty you.
Our soul tears ,splash, splash.
                         ~
Gone to Rainbow Bridge,.
Play with butterflies galore
Milk in rainbow bowls.
                          ~
Gone, your fur to kiss.
Mice, you chased,such feline grace.
Angel, ours, at Rainbow gates.

Hi Darlene!, Cats, doggs and pets of all kinds have theor own eternity. Some people do not believe that. That is OK, too. A good point you made, indeed, they arepart of our family! Pangie Romios

Paula, my cat Lovey, looked like the one in the picture. She was a happy cat, a loving being on four legs, and the photo reminded me of her jovial spirit. Great we wrote on felines on the same day. Pangie Romios

A beautiful poem for today. So true how the pets we love are our family. There is an unconditional love.

Thanks Elena? Well said, they are indeed part of the family. Remember when Eddie was little how cool she was to Lovey. Luckily, our kill have lived a long time and so we shared them amongst generations. Thank you for the Mother’s Day gift of being my daughter. That’s the best any woman could want.. We love you! Thank you for offering this poem. I'm sorry your cat died. It takes a long time to get over a pet's death, but in truth, the pet is never forgotten.
