Waking up before the sun kisses
Chirping of birds becomes brushed aside
Putting glasses to see better
With unpolished shoes I ride over
With an old beg of mine
Keeping some old books inside
The rusted passage let me in
I walk through a road edged with topiary
as if golden hedges welcome me
The old corridor embraces my stomping footsteps
Holding a chalk to create and defend
I march into battle ground cum temple of knowledge
Keeping all agonies behind the doorway
A warrior devotes to serve the future
An oath to fire up extinguishing lamps
And to nourish the saplings till they grow
Time rushes with greying hairs and vivid memories
But the grown up trees reminds me to keep going

ii Ivy and Yew Sculpture Garden ii - CT
I smiled when fir boughs hid from view
Live floral statues in mystery
With teasing eyes to see their clues
In topiary forms set free.
With ancient sculptors hand and eye
Spirals born – laurel stars shine shy
Fox and hounds racing on the lawn
While ivy hearts wink at the dawn.
Castle walls made of angel vine
Garlands entwined in sweet yew
Privet Cheshire grins with top hats
Marching pyramids playing chess.
I smiled when ivy boats sailed by
On garden paths where magic lies.

waking
this morning
finding a piece
of grass between
my teeth
remembering
a crazy grazing
dream where when
my eyes
spied an Edenic
not to be eaten bush
but i had to and so did do
more
then a bit
of teeth trimming
leaving a topiary unbit
top for
perhaps to
munch later
as a midnight snack

Never tell secrets on farmland. Potatoes have eyes, corn have ears and beanstalk.a great impossibility is suddenly deemed satisfactory but this not a factor nor is it a factory. Fir to mass reproduce is to induce a mass corrosion quality of human stigma. And to wait is ti wilt. Hahaha and no hahahaha and then finally a big hahahahaha and then a fragment of a figment and a free food but no free. Hahahaha and weeeee piggles......and weeeeee. Throw the arms and legs around. Sergeant matey. Know knock down then stand. How? How? How? Is that even possible I mean is an equatalateral triangle a rhombus?? hahaha and a mildew smiles in a dawn darkness. And a fish fork dancing with a tailored topiary. Gjvkdkdj and a hash tag is neither a waltz with a danger nor an epitomised z chorus. Go try on the apron appropriately.....xxxxzz inconsequential

Rodento is a pal o' mine
he sits atop a tree,
an extra to its foliage,
a natural topiary.
I named him 'cos he looks so real,
a critter with a snout,
a wiry tail part of his trunk,
some whiskers, and a pout.
He greets me every morning
when I take my cup of tea,
as I stroll along the balcony
I swear he's watching me.
When gentle breezes shake the tree
the varmint darts and dances,
but what if stronger winds persist
pray then, what are his chances?
What if a hurricane blows through?
he might well disappear,
disfigured by the elements,
then I would shed a tear.

In the catalogue of my heart’s library
A word I scribe, magical and unitary
In the garden of my emotional culinary
I plant , I nurture, I prune a topiary
In the bouquet of my life’s choicest flowers
One adorable,I place above all the towers
In the album of my sweetest memories
One ‘s too dear to me than the treasuries
In the atlas of maps of my mind
A solo destination fruitful I find
In the orchestra of my life’s tunes
An enchanting melody to me allures
In the fleet of ships with my decisions ‘cargo
One to me is fair and free from embargo
In the chandelier of my life’s surprises
One thrilling to me hypnotizes
In the pool of my dreams and desires
One realized, lit up the bonfires
In the blend of the aroma that mystifies
One fragrance stands out with poise
In the box of life’s tempting chocolates
One trust-worthy tastes and melts with grace
In the cemetery, when life ends,I am laid to rest
I wish, I pray that its me first and you be next!

SEASONS CONTEST
Sponsor: Shadow Hamilton
Four seasons create an earthly bond
Outside weather transforms beyond
Under the ground rises perfect lily buds
Rain sprinkles while purple tulips flood
Summer arrives with the boiling sun
Evening fireworks for laughter and fun
Autumn prevails wearing orange and red
Savoring bonfires before the kids go to bed
On top of the roof with Santa and his sleigh
Nutcrackers and a snowman during winter days
Seasons wrapped together in four different ways
Fresh after the snow seedlings turn into entwined roots,
green topiary with gentle hues painted with shades.
Then the dog days of summer where bumblebee’s buzz,
with swimming pools and hot sunshine Mother Nature made.
The equinox compels the night time with a low harvest moon,
leaflets of blades falling like rain with piles for kids to jump.
Snowmen and hot cocoa are necessary to keep us all warm,
while the jolly ol’ St. Nick gets stuck cuz’ he’s too plump.

Whisking flakes fluttering as the icicles start to melt
I'll never forget how the accumulation of snow felt
Natural cool air underneath the wearing of gloves
Time for gramma's hot chololate that I've always loved
Equator shifts and brings forth a winter solstice
Roses are almost here and so are my blooming hostas
Set my clock ahead as we all lose an hour of sleep
Picturesque and perfect bouncing into Spring with a leap
Radiant sun peaks through and shines for more hours
Inches of rain showers nourishing my precious flowers
Navy beans, chives and tomatoes grow with fascination
Green peas and peppers growing within my vegetation
From snowmen to butterflies, two mysteries of the natured mother,
and icicles melting into fresh topiary creating a masterpiece,
with day lilies, tulips and daffodils in my garden covered,
I let them grow, then cut them fresh making a splendid centerpiece.
icicles melting
sprinkles of April showers
gorgeous scenery

~The Magic of The Trees~
( A Topiary Concrete or Shaped Tree :)
The
Trees may grow
Luscious and so very
Tall they can be sometimes
So small and some can be very
Strong, they gives us their shade
They give us so much to use
So many products needed like
Paper, fruits, and books, and all.
The nice furniture we need around
For everything we use each
Day.Trees can give us wonderful
And delicious fruits to have
In our kitchen and table to eat
Trees can be so full and thick
And strong, but sometimes
They grow weak and go bared
It depends on the season that
We might be in, trees grow and
Change from spring to summer
Then to autumn and winter again
Trees follow all the seasons
So many are so very old
But so many get destroyed
By the passing of time
Or by natural disasters
Others by men's stupidity
Which it is all so sad
But in my eyes they
Are all so beautiful
Their magic never
Will fade or stop
I love trees
No matter what
Gowned in
Majesty
Or just
When bared
Old or new
The
Trees may grow
Luscious and so very tall.

This is the third
time
I've planted
climbing roses
The first two failed
to fulfill
my romantic fantasy
of
efflorescent roses
flaunting their
naughty
frilly pink bodice
and hooped skirts
draped in loops
like gingerbread
scroll-work
or fleur-de-lis
gamboling,
sauntering
across the white
French trellis
I guess I'm really a
fairy trapped
inside this 5' 8"
terrestrial body
I love how the
amethyst
moon-flowers
with the pentagram
tattooed on their
belly button petals
cast a magic spell
over the garden
And the night
blooming jasmine's
enchanting fragrance
wakens the
dreaming gardenia
and makes everybody
including our blue
eyed ragdoll kitten
a wee bit tipsy
I curl up on my
midnight Jhoola
topiary shadows
crouch
like royal sphinxes
in the starlit
courtyard
and reflecting pools
of water
from summer rains
swirl open their
third eyes
~portals to another
world~

Slow Down
Recycled daily rotations
in and out we rush
so many aspects mapped out
break free
slow down
enjoy nature
it’s God given
adore a big ole sun
sedentary-ly
threshold-ed on a horizon
Enjoy a bony tree branch
Vogue-ing in the wind
Cry through
A Piano-ed Cannon D
Sway hips to a calypso beat
Rotate lips around honeysuckle
Munch a fruit
Plucked straight from topiary
Enjoy a cleavage-ed sky
Stocked with clouds fully fluffed
Gawk upward at stars burning
Aflame in a black beauty-ied dome
walk naked in some rain
Let it finger your Cumming sensibility
Play with your kids,
and be more silly and ridiculous than them
We rush to and from
missing a plethora of beauty
Acquire some excitement
jemmed is life
as we brand our foot-prints
transversely on life’s dewy grass
Enjoy the ride…….

she planted seeds
pulled weeds
grew trees
and was into topiary;
then something grew inside her,
a weed that would not be pulled
the grass grew thick
and everywhere
the crabs thrived
the orchids flourished
and as she was going
the greater they grew
one day she stepped out there
and wilted in the shade
of a giant green flamingo
sometimes i think of her
when it’s hot
pouring pink lemonade.
