Premium Member Online Apps

You have to admit that the online world is one of competition
You have to seriously stand out to gain popularity and recognition
To create and design applications that grabs at the heart of the people
This is a task and a responsibility that would only seem simple
You have to have the time and the staff to be able to do so
You would need the money and willing sponsors for the growth
Let's not mention the reviews and opinions of others as well
You would also need a couple of in-app purchases to help it sell
Staying on top of all the registered complaints is also what it entails
Being smart enough to have a back up plan if it isn't successful enough
To be a top notch app developer, man it must be tough.

Premium Member not quite queen of autumn

It’s October
My grass, trees and leaves are verdant
Only one lone bush knew what to do
she has turned a glorious shade of crimson
Yes, I say, taking a crown to put on her top notch.
To pronounce her “queen of autumn” this year.

When I close ranks, I note that she is not a bush.
She is a discarded child’s wagon, upright, in weeds.
I scan my yard looking for autumn colors.
Tangerines, oranges, golds. I would settle for brown.
There is a sea of green laughing at me.
Not only do I live in Kansas
I live in the Emerald City.

Black Walnut Here

Like all my siblings, I dropped from my mother's crown, oh, about twenty years ago now
Fortunately, though a tough nut to crack, I eventually poked my green head up out of the ground
Turns out that I'm a tree, an Eastern Black Walnut to be exact, or Juglans nigra to be super exact
Now, nearly thirty feet tall, I can feel I've slowed down in growth some, normal for us black walnuts
If I keep my roots, and that pesky walnut caterpillar doesn't find me, I should double my height
My leaves are busy factories turning sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide into life sustaining oxygen
You humans love the pungent taste of my healthy fruit and use it in a slew of your culinary delights
They tell me studies show that the antioxidants I host are beneficial for human medicinal purposes
That chocolate wood I lumber around is top notch for constructing beautiful, long lasting furniture
So whatever our destiny may be, dresser, medicine, or tree, us black walnuts will always stand tall

The glow in your flow

In all parts of the world your greatness dwelt,
In all your speeches great wisdom is felt,
Your intelligence is just top-notch
Your haters are subdued under your watch.

Your good deeds are just extremely unique,
You have abundance of what others seek,
Your goodness open you doors of favours,
God's blessings, your life easily savours,

Your smiles send warmth to comfort troubled hearts,
Your beauty sits well on top of the charts
Your well shaped body is one of a kind,
Your friendship stays pure for long in the mind.

Your work is well rewarded with success,
God's favours shine in your life beyond guess,
Hence, God's blessings in your life is plenty,
And God's glory on your life is many.

Anna

There was an Irish madam named Anna,
At noon, she preferred to eat banana,
A mom with an eagle eye,
She could wow a top-notch spy,
A civic woman sometimes called Nana.

Premium Member Sing a Song of Sixpence

"This is believed to be a version that I'd furthered a bit more," ... by Poet

Sing a song of gone-byes,
A pocket golden watch.
Four and twenty hours
Staked as top-notch.

When the time had entered,
The Cuckoo Clock did sing.
Wasn't that a dandyish,
As sunset be the king.

The king in his grandfather clock,
Tick tocking away.
The queen mooning the dark hour,
Waxes and wanes at bay.

The stars are in the heavens,
Hang amongst the clouds,
Then dawn came up and did astir,
Awaken sun aroused.

ORIGINAL

Sing a song of sixpence,
A pocket full of rye.
Four and twenty blackbirds
Baked in a pie.

When the pie was opened,
The birds began to sing.
Wasn't that a dainty (or dandy) dish
To set before the king?

The king was in his counting house,
Counting out his money.
The queen was in the parlour,
Eating bread and honey.

The maid was in the garden,
Hanging out the clothes,
When down came a blackbird
And pecked off her nose.

Premium Member Warmth of July

Sun’s
top-notch,
seven hues;
and the silent
butterflies are free
to roam in leafy tent,
alight on little shoulders.
A moon jar of fireflies released;
a starry night of fireworks explodes.
The stellar, stupendous warmth of July!

Premium Member Disgruntled Poetess of Late

Be a blessing to us and stop writing such trash
With hypocritical flair making our teeth gnash,

All your talk of being so close to the good Lord
Falls flat when you slice fellow poets with a sword

Why do you harass those who enter contests?
Seems there is jealousy in your lame protests,

You do not get comments, most of us you block
Trying to befriend you is like befriending a croc!

If you want a place at the top of a poetry soup list
Consider requirements you’ve obviously missed

Write some top-notch poems worthy of notice
Stop lambasting people, start with the POTUS!

Consider encouraging new poets on the soup
And like a zoo monkey, stop throwing your poop.

Enter those poetry contests you seem to abhor
But, of course, you must begin on the first floor,

And work your way up to some earned recognition
Apologize to folks you’ve hurt, start with contrition,

Try to practice the Golden Rule you often espouse
And stop behaving like an ungrateful, entitled louse!

Premium Member Organic Chemistry Test

Chemistry, a labyrinthine topic-cum-tantalising potent cryptic art,
bane of eager scientist with half a top-notch mind and ample heart

Teachers in this field strain every muscle but knowledge has its
phoenix like bugs.
bungled shots at mastery whet an inborn urge for random hugs

At twenty two a third year paper found me in this vicious circle dumbstruck,
my blank expression shook with disbelief as I sought a golden wink from Lady Luck

Nervous giggles, comic errors, bold retrieval seldom count as fun,
but never fear, triumphant marks, percentage wise a glowing grade A one!
