At the supermarket, squeeze this,
sniff that. Of course, color is the
first attraction: Fruit should not
be green -- vegetables must be!
So, green is not always best.
Children, take note! (Her daughter,
Little Genie, as ordered, wrote)
And if the same price for
one, choose the largest and weigh...
but scales sometimes are purposely
light, seldom right. (Genie again
wrote) Now let's do this again: I said
vegetables should be green...though
carrots better orange-yellow. Then there
are eggplants, they must be deep
purple. Oh, and the beets should
be nice, round, earthy red. Sweet candy,
gumballs, hot-dogs, highly processed
foods, hormone chicken and beef,
barbecue with artificial flavoring
should be avoided like the class
bully. (Genie wrote, if it taste good
it is probably bad for you) Read labels
on cans: Mono-this, Chlor-what's it,
if you can't say it, never plate it. Make
a list of these chemicals. Genie
used all the reminding pages in her pad.
(ended with, in the future, only go
shopping with dad)

Bad Times for Questioning

Everyone can be a critic.
Few can take criticism.
I’ve seen the results of youthful play
The paths half-buried of sandy ethics
The holes and pitfalls of reliance
Mounds of dirt clods and chocolate chips
Success tastes so fine –
Like a drink of ice cold water
On the last lap of decision
‘Cause we are all infinite genius
We know what we know –
Because we intended to be ominous
We have all the answers –
For our same redundant questions
So don’t point your finger at me
Waiting for a solution
To your petty-proud, little-lot life
My knowledge will pierce your pupils
Blister your lips
Bruise your belly
Crush your pride
I am a steel-toed construction boot
You are an insect
Don’t play checkers on my chess board
It’s a risk taken with a master madman
With a proven method of interpreting your ideas
Full intentions of beating you
At your own game
In your own home
Give me a reason to frown upside down.

It's Time

No more waiting,
No more ruminating.
The bitter night of hopelessness is gone;
The sweet light of destiny has dawned.

Forget the hating,
No more debating.
The Morning Glory is singing;
Good news, John is bringing.

It's time!

No more hiding,
No more idling.
The light is shining a vibrant green;
The road is clear, with no blocks in between.

Forget the past,
No more feeling downcast.
Up like the stars that shine in a barren night,
Lighting up with joy like a firefly in celestial flight.

It's time!
It's time!
It's time!

Right Wrong Time

meeting during chaos and confusion
was a true catalyst for us both
divine time for the brief meeting
the feeling felt very familiar too
something strange was afoot
energy magnetic and strong
it was too short, but sweet
trauma bonding wouldn't be fair
working on ourselves separately
healing heart mind and soul
to move towards building better
so the next time will be for a long time,
miss you much!

Premium Member Three-timing girl

Stars were twinkling each time that I kissed you
at sundry bars, where I was unable to resist you.
And you kept saying in the world's sweetest voice,
"Hope you know, you're definitely one of three boys
whom tonight I would love to say 'Yes' for a tryst to."

TIMING

A reason to be born
Know what to live or die for
Destiny had been written
Do what it takes
Make good use of your time
Giving your life a meaning
Leaving a legacy behind
None reigns forever.

Good times
Don't last forever
Just like
You won't live forever
Don't be abusive
Whenever you're on top.

Use your power
Don't abuse it
Wisdom is profitable
For it guides or direct
Never leads none astray.

God's Timing

In a moments time you will recognize,
Through the pain your hearts intertwine,
The questions unanswered where silence once lived,
Was the timing it took for love to forgive,
It had to be experienced in order to see,
Because your heart is too important to me,
Do not try to guess what it looks like right now,
I know the whole story inside and out,
Trust in me, and lay it down at my feet,
You know what to do, and you abide in me,

Timing

A listless wall-clock tocks.
Pedestrians sleep-walk to their garages,
strung out nightwalkers arrive home
to unwind main springs.
Neighborhood cats want in and dogs out.
Pet-free I arise
to pee.

Hung upon marshmallow bones
I roll back onto the perspiring mattress,
Its pillows are still drunk on mind-fog.
The slamming of distant doors
tweaks fine ear hairs.

The clock stops to rethink the notion of time,
hands flop out of its face,
those hands will never reach the floor,
not until bare feet repossess the rug,
nor until my toes can hack their way through
its pile weave jungle,
only then
will the wall commence to tick,
and a thick-tongued world clock in.

What is it to be
That I shall die
Without your love
You entered my life
If I never knew
How or why
The art of love
You set my spirit free
I know not how
Your kiss tantalized me
I know not why
You cannot say
You were the
Most honest man
My love for you
I did not understand
Now you are not here
I wonder why
It was timing
Just timing
And time passed us by
My love for you
Still lingers on
She had you first
Now you are gone

There's timing with truth; It's quick, but face it head on with all the strength you have inside!

Bad Timing

Bad timing

When the day has been hot and long, when a letter tells me I have to put the car in for its yearly inspection and to check the oil and tires and you know you shall never make love to a woman again.

When you hear about politicians who struggle to preserve their legacy, don't they know they will be remembered for the corruption they were famous for, and even more, their shenanigans will be forgotten also?

When you go down to the garage to read the car tax disk
and you wonder what you are doing there, to walk all way up and remember, and too pissed off with yourself to find this slightly funny.

It is then you look forward to your secret vice playing
solitaire, eat half a bar of chocolate drink two glasses of red wine; and say, I have free will, I can eat the other half of the chocolate bar if I want to

The mockery of time
has never been in my favor.
The stars weigh me down.
They fell from the sky.
I am beyond the boundaries.
of time and space
But now I grasp things clearly.
As for me, no doubt
I am still willing to sacrifice.
my life for just one embrace
with it at my fingertips.

Beautiful she is, beautiful she does
Beautiful with lots of room to spare
There's so much more to who she is
Then what she shows is there
See I have been observing
Her ways of doing things
And I have fallen for her
Her inner person brings
My soulmate to the surface
Although he's there unseen
His essence lies in service
To what we both may glean

Step Into His Timing

Who is like Him so great?
Blessings from heaven await,
Allow the Lord to anoint your hands
To grab hold of His future plans.
Step into His timing,
Synchronize your clock with His,
Look and see what’s in your hand
God is already there to help you stand.
Roar like a lion and stake your claim
To His covenant promises and reign,
Multiply what is in your hand
Let the wind blow and move with Him.
It’s a new time, He is making
Everything beautiful and blooming,
Find your way in the new movement,
Find your place in this new movement.
A new place is calling you
Bind and loose, decree the new beginning too,
We are anointed to move forward
Into our prosperous path, we go.
We are vessels created to
House our Father’s glowing presence,
Release His glory wherever you go
Let the river flow and show,
The power of God's glory and grace!
Let the world know He redeems and saves.
