Best Timing Poems

For Two Timing Husbands

How many tears must fall from brown eyes before I lay me down to sleep.
Where hurtful dreams of betrayal and lies hide in shadows they creep.

How long did you think you could go around cheating and not be found out.
With all your two dollar whores and think I'd not scream and shout!

See if they'll put up with your bullsh**, until the next one catches your eye.
As for me I'm done with your no account two timing a** once and for all...
                    GOODBYE!!!!

Divine Timing

Come now and follow me into the depths of my apathy
You might have to burn me but somehow I think I could die happily

The man that you programmed got viruses like a computer
Why is the life that you gave me somewhere in the future

I break from these chains and I run from this dungeon like clockwork
My mother comes running in terror, won't somebody stop her

I'm so far from perfect but perfect is always beside me
I shine my own brightness with light that is actually blinding

Come now in all of your greatness, I'm so through with hiding
You're past due but it's not my place to critique divine timing

Timing:The Art of War

its
  as
     if
                 INCUBUS
IS SITTING BACK THERE JUST WAITING TO TORMENT ME

I
 MAY
LOOK
      WOUNDED
but its an ILLUSION

         THE GREAT MAN
what does He want all of a sudden
                                              whats His game

i know His intentions are good but im TIRED of being protected

    A
      T
        C
          H
            I
              N
G onto it may distort my memories
i try to let go but the fear paralyzes me
its a mixture of REALITY and FANTASY

i havent REPRESSED any of it

the slate is CLEAR MENTAL STABILITY
                             PROPERLY PREPARED PATIENT

confirming my preconception that WE ARE ALL USELESS AND WEAK when we sleep

                                                VISCERALLY
 IM READY TO BEGIN
                                     THIS NEW JOURNEY

Bad Timing

They say timing is everything and baby is ours ever wrong,
But I'll do what I have always done and pretend to be strong.
My heart just doesn't understand this isn't meant to be,
Cause when we talk it's pure bliss, like you were put on earth for me.
So forgive me if the words I say are coming on too strong,
Cause my love for you just feels so good, how could it be wrong?

Premium Member It Is All About Timing

The sun is playing games
Teasing for a minute or two
Between mountains swathed in gray clouds
Briefly shining on the wet pavement
Not long enough to warm the air
Like grasping for a dream, not quite reaching it
As the light fades again
The wind whistles stories in the trees
Making me think of many stories I have to tell
Some important enough to make a difference
When truth is told the sun shines in hearts
Not only in the sky to see
Sometimes resolution comes from taking risks
Persistently following a dream after it slips away
Knowing it is all about timing, faith, inner beliefs
The rest is only the trick of unpredictable diversion

The fleeting moments
was probably in preparation
for today
where you have been a constant thread
mixing with the chaos
to bring the calm
I never thought I would need -
in your own style
digging for the things that made me unhappy
unravel the thoughts I was too afraid
to actually give a voice to
though I knew it would be the only way
to work through the fear
and confusion

in the background that little encouragement
I needed was like a silent pat on the back
to get back up and try again
though my vision seem to have been displaced
in all the madness and laughter
it made me realise
that perfect timing
does not have a human
certification attached to it,
it is exactly that
perfect timing

Gods Timing

GODS TIMING

IN HIS TIMING HIS WILL AND HIS WAY

The day the hour and timing unknown
Mistaking we see His patience as absence
When in truth it is perfect and constant
The moment faultless— as manifestations are shown

IN HIS TIMING HIS WILL AND HIS WAY

Overlooking the fact-- for Him one day as a thousand years
Our hearts in the right place but frequently fickle- foolish
We need to take courage-- be strong—resolve resolution
His judiciousness awaiting appointed time as He reveres

IN HIS TIMING HIS WILL AND HIS WAY

Essentially required to be on guard to watch and wait
To gain hearts of wisdom until the time comes
As mortal beings grass grown, then withered dry
Not for us to become acquainted with a finite date

IN HIS TIMING HIS WILL AND HIS WAY

God s supremacy, His power and sovereignty rule
Existence essentially from Eternity to Eternity
We need to know—recognize our time is in His hands
Use our time wisely, investing in love--a precious jewel

IN HIS TIMING HIS WILL AND HIS WAY

Timing

My friend in Vermont
says she feel responsible
for the lack of foliage--
leaves so tardy to turn
for the busloads of tourists

who come for fall glory.
Same old story: we take
to ourselves Mother Nature's
abstinence which isn't hers, but ours,
the fruition of emission and

those blindfolded to the golden
and scarlet missing on trees.
Then comes the freeze and what
doesn't alter: the triple
digit heat you cannot beat.

Perfect Timing

Hurriedly through the night it came
Blanketing the ground in white
A storm of raging wind and snow
Late one Christmas Eve night

It came to us with little warning
A blizzard of blinding white
While families bowed their heads
Giving thanks for the birth of Christ

The winds did howl like a wolf
And snow drifts halted travel
The dark night was black as pitch
Emergency crews were frazzled

Then as the night gave way to dawn
They found the silver lining
Families snowed in for Christmas
Seemed winter had perfect timing

TIMING…

This is the best time
in my life because,
I’m living it,
and I’m most alive:
NOW!
Why would I want
a past with
prior knowledge to
live again
Or-
future unknowns?
At least there’s some
semblance of control,
because the “present”
allows choice.
“Live On!”

Tarnished Through Timing

Tarnishing through timing
Three times trustingly
Triple traps tripping too
Trounced twice tingling
Telepathically trudging
Teaming tremendous tasks
Tell Timmy to take tally
Tarnished Through Timing

Timing

Tidal breathing lunar pull ocean
Heaving monthly passion waves.
Measures of timing in surely repelling
Slow steady repeating gravity law
Winds of tomorrow and yesterday's keening
Fill canvas dreams as keels argue sorely
Rippling and driving in moments of yaw
Time tied in tidal moon fluctuation
Swinging and tolling to crash on the shore
As we spend our days
Hoping for more.

It's All In the Timing

quatrain

Clearly put - the star was up to no good.
Musicians have an innate sense of time.
The guests, notwithstanding, all understood
their host - a conductor well-past his prime.

Novice performers, the host chose just three
for the opening event of the night.
His niece, as it happened, was one invitee;
he could still orchestrate who’s in the limelight.

While each one of the fledgling young trio
aced their solo in the gateway prelude,
the simply grand - violin virtuoso
excelled in his mellifluous etude.

Not wanting to move on his host and niece,
the star asked for an encore from her flute.
Would she segue into his final piece?
(in the vernacular of music’s astute).

The auspiciousness of the occasion
would exalt any young lady to conceit.
With tempo way fast for the transition;
it was clear she had been swept off her feet.

Premium Member Where Has the Young Boy Gone

Where has the young boy gone,
Oh, where has the young boy gone?

The one who played
So quietly with his toys,
But who was capable of making
Such a terrible noise,
The one who climbed
The old gnarled beech tree,
And claimed to be ruler
Of all he could see,
The one who played with his puppy,
Held it so tenderly while it slept,
The one who ran through the meadow
And across the stream leapt,
The one I read stories to,
While he was tucked-up in his bed,
The one I nursed when he was ill
And I cared for and fed.

Time has passed and time has flown,
And the young boy has long since grown,
The young boy has long since grown,
And now has a young boy - all of his own …

Timing

when there is something on our hearts
and we are waiting for things to come
sometimes it can feel like a long time
but God's will be done
God's Timing is perfect
it is never too early or too late
the Lord brings all good things
and renew the strength of those that wait
God does things at the right time
at the right place
bringing joy to our hearts and a smile to our face. Amen

PROMISE FROM GOD:
Habakkuk 2:3 . . . These things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

isaiah 40 verse 31	 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Ephisians 1 verse 9 - 11. 9 God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. 10 And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. 11 Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God,* for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. Amen
