though Mom's memory
is slow she smiles at photo
taken many years
ago when life was simple
with no confusion chaos
Mom's hospice nurses
are thorough even small things
are giant matters
as life's boundaries implode:
sleep, dress, eat, nap, sleep, repeat
long term memories~
through it all she still recalls
her little girl (that's me)
(her jewel) I'm by her side
as she finds eternity

I don’t dream often, but I dream of Jeanie,
the only one who ever touched my Nadi.
I met her bathing in the Irrawaddy.
You’d classify her as an in-betweenie,
but looking pretty hot in that bikini!
She got me going when she called me ‘daddy’!
Jean self-identified as “thorough baddie,”
but never let me see her Kundalini.
I couldn’t leave her working in that paddy,
so whisked her off to Venice. Like Houdini,
she made the transformation: loved linguini:
but part-time jobs (a waiter, then a caddy)
meant I could not afford her. One bellini
cost forty bucks! Forget the Lamborghini!

The egret was poking along thorough the brush
A bull name of King began to get a giant crush
The last love interest he had was a tiny blue thrush
He offered the egret a bite of his oatmeal mush
She declined politely, as had that blue thrush

Verily do I separate myself from her celestial face; seems thorough that symbolically setting the tune
For a ceremony of God's grace
Acting only by reacting to what's enate
As if I've been lifted skyward to God's plate
To rule over all that God's created
With a kiss from her lips
She seduces all man's passions
No should I miss your warming embrace
I've subdued my passions
A visionaries vitality

never call the kettle black
it shines inside and out
needs a polish now and then
perspective insight and action
miracles and blessings happen
when the time is right
and the privilege is granted
therefore I dived into the cauldron
a baptism of fire so to feel
and the magic potion sizzled
cold blisters of angst and resentments
vanished meta-morphed into the light
an inventory thorough cleaning
of the house that is my Self
a ruin of sorts it had been
rubble carnage wreckage
and I could not choose
the colour of my rescue boat
the size or model of the life preserver
it would not have done to plaster over
the cracks in the pot
I could no longer attribute fault
reason or blame to others
it had to become an inside job instead
an act of desperation and gift of recovery
no one pushed me when I took the plunge
I forgave yet did not ask for forgiveness
became able to love and allow to be loved
today I swim with hot passion once more
accept the good with the bad
found peace and moments of serenity
enjoy enchantment and gratitude
no witch craft at all
but a fairy tale story
narrated by a cauldron
of magical proportions

A first grader somewhere today
was left alone on a bus,
unacceptable I say!
Riding a bus with the kids is fun
but, at my last stop my job is not done.
I can't return without a thorough search,
on each and every seat,
on the floor, in the isle or anywhere between.
The blue light was hung as a reminder
to search one more time
because a first grader alone on the bus today.
One time event is one time to many.

The civilization of askers
Waits in the world of deciders
The queues tend to go faster
The lost need to find their finders
Any road needs an excavation
Some fenced pits of debris
What looks clean needs contamination
Regardless if some may disagree
I need to take my annual tests
Maybe I’ll get new prescriptions
I won’t mind to get more rest
Can’t give you a thorough description
How do I feel about this old day
In the world of deciders
The askers should know their place, they say
Maybe the web needs more spiders.

God is not a cliche,
but a derivative of historical man's interpretation
via ancient civilizations' understanding
as to what a 'deity'
symbolic model
that they had extrapolated
for the mere reason of
controlling the masses
by undergoing thorough
the guides and, or guise
known as
"centralization of ideology."
Easy if you got a book
like a Bible,
or a Koran,
or a Torah,
etc.
Egypt had Ra,
Romans had Jupiter,
Greeks had Zeus,
Norsemen had Odin
and American Indians according to their tribes
and Hawaiians had them too
our's was Kane
Thanks to the missionaries,
who had brought the 'g'od fact into perspective,
via,
the capitalization factor.
In my view,
'tis a futile attempt of
The Early Churches
to part WAY
what I--
and the silent,
have known ...
in the aforementioned.
It was part of my thesis
for Theology Admittance
when I was 16,
extra points for raw concept
methinks ethnic bias--Hawaii College.
Easy with my Mom, ...
"Just 'mum' on that subject son."

I searched 'ere the dawn, where could it have gone,
for now, it possesses me, as a mystery, till dawn met me.
I've no rhyme or reason that a loved entity goes awry,
having to comb with despair and melancholy choking air,
hence, I must cease or I will be deceased. I choose to
be, than not to be, mid the numbers of worth--counting.
Now that I've deduced the severance of said company,
to be amiss, or, lost as in unrecoverable. So, I will forge
ahead, much like this climbing star training its new day
as it's backpacking a whole quarter welcoming--it's Fall.
Oh my, much ado has gone awry, high and low, 'neath a
crooked sky. My thorough efforts abandoned my fruit of
labor, with harvest ripening fields, and the forests crispy
hues. I have forsaken a driven entity that proposes life.
A ray of hope, beaming from a drifting star hovering over
the lost, now found. There is still a sliver of time enough.
I must tighten the notches so that its stretch will be of
favor to the distant ones who'll all rise across the seven
seas, for I am the soloist. The powers that made me, an
Indian, task Summer to stay awhile to hear my drumbeat.

If you are surrounded by criminals
It is very likely that you've become a criminal
Criminals are like worms in a rotten fish
No matter how thorough you wash the dishes
The stench remains; the stink is unbelievable
Corruption and money are part of the mess
Nepotism is at the heart of the financial chaos
Criminals belong not in Congress
Not in the Senate, but in filthy jail
Of course not in the Parliament of some poor countries
Many politicians are fishy liars who're heading to hell
Criminals are as sneaky as rodents hiding in the vanities.

Betwixt the vibrant threads of a busy bazaar,
A foreigner's gaze seize on a singular star,
A boy with one eye, an enigma raid,
Their dialogue begins, a journey to trade.
"Your salesmanship shines," the foreigner inquires,
"Does schooling attend you? Or familial fires?"
Orphaned and lone, no kin he admires,
The boy's tale unravel, as ambition inspires.
"English, how come its in your tongue?" the foreigner probes,
Through travelers' tales, the boy's knowledge thorough on globe.
In the loom of life, where destiny robes,
Their discourse unfurls, where curiosity lobs.
But the foreigner, intrigued by a deeper array,
Asks of the boy, his eye's fate's ray.
"Taken away," the boy voice like a squall,
No pity sought, nor tears to enthrall.
"Would you wish for new eye?" the foreigner's quest,
To gaze upon wonders, life's behest,
Boy apprise "I'd rather dwell in darkness, at rest,"
Than with one eye, bear life's test.
Silence ensues, the foreigner's heart sways,
By the boy's resolve, in life's maze,
A cashmere carpet purchased, in a daze,
Their encounter profound, in bazaar's craze.

I MEAN
It's really hard to
Be "thorough..."

'SMALL.'

Children can be pretty noisy while you’re driving
As they are in your responsible care.
When you take the bus back to the garage,
After dropping every child at their homes or daycare
Make a thorough sweep over every row ensuring a child has not
Been left behind and make sure everything is secure.
