Thorns Poems

Love And Thorns

It has such beautiful petals
With dangerous thrones
Offered as a sign of love
But used as a sign of death
Roses can be everything
And they can be nothing
A perfect living paradox
Given to an imperfect species

Thorns

--BlossomMonyei--
A path of thorns
Thorns of many kind.
Thorns that'll ruin a life
Thorns that hypnotize to pierce your leg.

I've been taught
Avoid thorns
The pleasure
I barely resist

All it takes is a foot
I fought not to
But pleasure grew
Desire became hungry.

I enjoyed as it entered my foot
Forgot the consequences
Pleasure left, Desire satisfied
A great penalty, I was shocked

I knew I couldn't continue

For You, My Son, I'll Wait

A crown of thorns it had to be
He cried out in anguish from that tree
No one would listen, no one cared
Then John said brother please be still
Your Father in heaven for you awaits
You mean the world and more to Him
God said for You, My Son, I'll wait

Premium MemberDo You Care?

How much spit do you have to wipe off your face?

How many thorns do you have to remove after every curse we attach to your name?

How many times do we have to bury you, and you come back with more grace and love?

Every praise we give you feels like a blade piercing

Where the Thorns Remember Me

Date: June 17, 2025

I wandered through a bleeding dusk,
the wind forgot my name.
A rose was growing from the dust—
I reached, and it became

the fog that hums like swallowed screams.
My lungs forget to breathe.
I taste old blood beneath my tongue.
Each petal cuts me in my sleep—
what did I dare believe?

Each step I took was stitched with

I Saw A Man Today

I saw a Man today as he walked the hill
Tears and drops of blood did equal spill
From brutally torn flesh and eyes of pain
I saw a Man today my inadequate refrain

I saw a Man today unjustly convicted
His trial was short and clearly scripted
The verdict assured without any proof
I saw a Man today who spoke only

our love like a rose
the fresh scent is in the air
I want to pluck it
I may get scratched doing so
off the stem the rose will die

red roses in bloom
alive and fresh on the stem
sharp thorns for defense

Skulls and Thorns

Skulls And Thorns
The darkness is cold.
Hold your hand and be bold.
Take me with you.
Sense of touch wherever you go.
From the grave to the sky.
Together, I feel alive.
You are beyond elegant.
Stand with you in darkness.
Watch the candle lights dance.
You are my match.
Light the sky on fire.
You're the one I desire.
You are mesmerizing.
Fly past the horizon.
A place

Field of Thorns

While walking with intrusion upon the light of morn
I stumbled across a field of thorns
The ghastly things were everywhere
Standing erect and poised without a care

The field was devoid of other weeds
It seemed to go on endlessly
Each bush was trimmed with precision so fine
I wondered what gardener had wasted his time

A path had been hewn in

To understand me is to walk on a path of thorns hidden beneath velvet,
where the scent of roses deceives the lungs with sweet illusions,
while blood silently drips into the earth that swallows untold stories.
I do not wish to be deciphered; I am merely an enigma mercilessly absorbing
your fragile understanding, leaving only shadows to dance on

To understand me means to walk on a path of thorns in velvet,
where the perfume of roses deceives the lungs with its sweetness,
while blood silently flows and waters the earth beneath.
I do not wish to be understood, I exist as an enigma that cannot be grasped,
I am a mystery too deep for anyone's fragile understanding.

THAT OLD CROWN
OF THORNS HE WORE for ME

That crown of thorns
Set upon His head
Needled poke, pricked, bloodshed
Though the crown of thorn
 Was mocked
 Replace His Kingdom Crown
 Evil Humanity thought
 Instilled with my God
So yet He's lives for me
He His grace, substituted
Heart and Head space

So you wear these thorns with pride, accepting the hand that invites you to dance,
and you spin alongside your reflection, to the music of voids that sing to your tears.
Because you know, this pain looks better on no one else but you,
you know you have always been the perfect mannequin to display it to the
