I went to Carolina in my mind
to see what I could find.
Oh, but it was awesome -
the Carolina possum.
Just A Pinch of Crazy
She was just a little girl
With big blue eyes
And she dreamed everyday
Of touching the sky.
The world watched her grow
And become a lady
A fearless woman
With just a pinch of crazy.
Her music touches the hearts
Of the young and old
Creating a relationship
That is inspiring and bold.
She doesn't carry bad blood
For those who bully her
She just fills the blank spaces
And leaves them in a blur.
With a pinch of crazy
She sings a love story
And after years of searching
Her lover becomes her glory.
Every word she writes
Becomes a part of a song
Every song she writes
Makes her reputation strong.
Haters are gonna hate
And say mean things
But she just shakes it off
And continues to sing.
A Fun or Humorous Clerihew about a famous person Poetry Contest

My favorite musician is Taylor Swift
You see, she's fast becoming a gift
Her music leaves the audience spellbind
Where her presents are open to mankind
Elizabeth Taylor,
Married eight times, ex-husbands in a galore!
Many more than two coveted Oscars she won,
Dealing with seven grumpy men - not a lot of fun!
Limerick
There once was a goddess named Liz,
With eyes that could make a man fizz.
She would marry by Tuesday,
Then divorce by Wednesday
Till death or a better offer was her biz.
Eight rings on her finger
Here is our Liz Taylor.
Elizabeth Taylor -
I'd sure like to nail 'er.
Yep, I'd do that hot tin roof cat.
Oops, did I just say that?
we have the Kansas City Chiefs
The Royals
The fountains
and as of yesterday, Taylor Swift
We have barbeque
pork, beef, chicken
We have arts, and Midwest culture
and as of yesterday, Taylor Swift
We have parades, festivals, art fairs
and as of yesterday,
Well, you know…..
My friend most beautiful
sat shoulder to shoulder with me
after the lights went low
and the show began.
We took in ballad after ballad
the tender voice hour after hour
and a spell was cast.
The song of Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight
spoke to me— I could almost cry.
I glanced at her
and she looked straight ahead.
This was the night I wanted for months
although we had some casual dates
o the times when I pleaded for more
but tonight she was so tender
when I put my arm around her shoulder.
I knew the night was good for her
when we stepped out the elevator
onto her dormitory floor
and the music resonated in my mind.
The taste of her kiss was so sweet
on that special night.
She must have known
it was our last.
I am tired of Taylor Swift,
Her face I can not avoid.
I know you gals get my drift.
I love her, but am annoyed.
She has all those Swifty fans.
Isn't that enough for her?
All she does is sing and dance,
and is known throughout this
earth.
Her picture is everywhere!
Won't you give me a break Please?!
Kelce and her, are a pair.
Watch the Kansas city chiefs.
I turn the radio on.
You won't believe who I hear.
My daughter's favorite song.
You guessed wrong, it's Britney Spears.
Gotcha LOL

Taylor is a wonderful
performer but I think
they overcharge at her
concerts and parents
foot the bill for their
teenage kids...

Swifties Unite!
Mimi, Taylor's most insta-swifty, totally meowed
As she grabs some me time, she'll vote she vowed
I really must flush and shoo
Me lady needs the loo
Swifty Cat ladies unite! We’re smart, brave and proud!
So much to offer, so much to give
Knowledge, Artistry, plenty of good ideas
Word perfect, beautiful surface, and the smile
Loves deeply, loyal completely, wicked sexy style
So troubled, so Anxious, given too much pain
Depression, abusive men, she's crying reign
If only she could see what I see then maybe she could
She could be all of everything and not be misunderstood
I believe in almost nothing everything seems so untrue
But I do believe in this one thing...I believe in you...

Taylor's pretty swift, a single cat gal with grit
A brash gust of fresh air with verve drive and wit
Swifties exude grand elation
So goes Swift, so goes the nation!
Scared of big yeller bullies? Not one damn bit
She's strutting down the neon streets,
With a smile that the world can't beat.
Glitter rains from every note,
Catching fire in her velvet coat.
Crowds roar wild, the beat won't slow,
She's the spark that sets the show.
Dizzy lights and hearts that sway,
In her name, the night's in play.
Gold confetti, fame untamed,
A legacy with joy proclaimed.
Her tunes, they crash, a tidal wave,
On the stage, she's bold, she's brave.
In chaotic bliss, she spins so free,
A dance with fate, her jubilee.
From country twang to pop-star's crown,
Swift's the queen, and never down.
I want to know who’s going to tell Trump that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those black jobs?—Michelle Obama
please don't squander what those before us fought hard for all of their lives
~ he wants you to fear two highly educated black successes whose lives thrives
something wonderfully magical is in the air ~
spreading all across this country we love and share
steppin’ up ~ Kamala a president we can be proud of
~not a villain fear monger for a lesser gov
A shallow thinker of little integrity
A sycophant stinker and less empathy
A wanting to return to a golden age
which never existed,
with ludicrous rants that serve to enrage
Catty remarks weird and twisted...
Selflessly she married into a family,
it only makes her more inspiring
She won't hear the sounds of pitter patter,
Kamala, her husband and stepchildren matter!
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene
would love to rip out your spleen
if Trump’s not the center of your world.
Her radical convictions she has loudly unfurled.
That she’s antisemitic is true
and, it seems, white supremacist too.
She has praises for Putin.
For some murders, she’s rootin’.
Certain Democrats make up this queue.
She speaks of family values and her Christianity,
then spews out venom. That hate is wrong, she cannot see.
Here’s one conspiracy theory that thrives in Greene’s head:
JFK Jr’s death was a Hillary “Clinton murder”~~that’s what she said!
