WAYWARD DEAR HEART WOULD YOU LOVE A SUCH AS ME-
1.>I can’t stand it;
Oh, that I love you so much;
Even though you don’t know it;
And yet in the basics of God we trust;
I can’t understand, why I won’t tell you;
That I wonder, love and adorn you so;
if my soul does trust God
If my spirit so does move;
When will my mouth and my brain come together?
And I ask you would you be mine forever
Would you love a such as me
Darling
~
2.>I can’t receive it;
Oh, that I haven’t yet;
Told you just, a loud verbally how I feel (how I felt);
And yet it is so known in God do we so trust
I can’t understand, why I haven’t told you yet;
How much, how that I love you so;
Let have I verbally cried out how much I love you?
Darling Oh!
I can’t understand, why I won’t tell you;
That I wonder, love and adorn you so;
If my soul does trust God
If my spirit so does move;
When will my mouth and my brain come together?
And I ask you would you be mine forever
Would you love a such as me
wooh oh a oh oh
Darling

Why do I attract thee to me I cannot say.
Do I appear to need a friend or is it clear that you do?
Maybe it is that I believe in you and that you hope I do.
You must peer through my armor
knowing that there is a soft spot for someone like you.
Or you don't care to know me at all. This
Is all about you.
So I listen.
Offer advise that you can not discern.
But you are throttled by your own destructive ego.
You offend my kindness always scheming to collect more
Than you deserve.
I give in to a point.
Your advantage. Like the game of tennis you
Attempt to take the set.
You can't see it though. Can you?
Open your mind to sanity.
Your super ego has failed you.
Why are you most important I wonder.
I let you go on, but only for a time that
I can rid myself of this vexation.
Be gone! For I have not the energy to fix you.
For I have paid the price and occasionally still do.
Not this time however.
Snaking through rocks, flowing on sand
The river sings charm and charity
Infesting the cosmos and the land
The ill-disposed breathe barbarity
Like an orchestra, man’s life may seem
Easy or hard, some keep the accord
For want of goodwill, ethos, or esteem
Playing virtue, some cannot afford
Yet faking and playing, others can fulfill
Masks of goodness they wear only to
Foist on you and me some sickly swill
If only motives, we could see through
Without her-there's no
tellin' where I'd be
I'd be tossed by waves &
forever lost at sea
Self-destructive & barely
clinging to life
My spirits turned ugly
full of envy & strife
Not knowing direction or the
purpose of my course
The highway to hell- my
throttle full force
That light within me-gone-
with my heart turned black
From all the betrayal & scars
across my back
I'd still be looking for love-
slowly loosing hope
From the drugs to depression
there's no one to help me cope
No reason to care, my life
had become a blur
Then God showed Amazing Grace
with a gift such as her
Now she's tied to my soul &
runs thicker than any blood
Washing me clean, like the Lord
did with the flood
Healing all wounds of my past
enabling me to rise above
We strengthen each other & soar
like the wings of a dove
Proving that love is power, covering
a multitude of sin
So where I thought I was broken. I
was really able to bend
No doubt you saved me- Kyrie
this I know for sure
Bringing beauty back to life & feeling
God's Grace- for me- once more
There are friends and there are friends, most are casual, but some are true.
Some are nice but when they can, they will take a little bit, out of you.
Maybe I always dreamed, of having a friend, I knew I could really trust.
One that had a knack, of making your day, when it was looking like a bust.
There are those you didn't choose, but they insisted, so what could you say?
Those might be the ones, standing up for you, no matter come what may.
Some have too many friends, and there are those, who can count only one.
I think that we can all agree, that we need friends, like we need the sun!

Days Such As These
What to do about these dull days
When Nimbus clouds sail upon prevailing
Winds? Pains Grey skies weep
And their tears drip into gurgling gutters.
Shadowless days when life lingers, unsheltered,
And slow wet hours pace across the day.
Oh! To turn my back on days such as these
And rest in sleep’s far removed pastures,
To dream of unfathomed horizons,
Of clear, infinite distances.
To lay in slumber’s warm embrace
As the world in distant valleys waits.

GOD'S GOOD EVEN TO THE SUCH AS US
God has spoken His holiness
I will come and rejoice
Truly God is good
Even to such as one of us

In a poem
Such as this
There is still
Place for
God in my life
Higher Power
Or whatever you say
I need him every day
Villanelle: If only the World were such as to be just – 1
If only the World were such as to be just
Then all girls would be born all all beautiful
And men would be the lame laid sex without lust
If only the girls were all all free as dust
And men could pick and choose and ditch them sackful
If only the World were such as to be just
If only in test-tubes girls their eggs entrust
Then men would much work find their clawing hands full
Would then men be the lame laid sex without lust
If only lifelong hour-glass shape girls love must
Through whirls twists and twirls be not at all bashful
If only the World were such as to be just
If only the girls in their joints did not rust
While men could lay themselves down just wonderful
Would then men be the lame laid sex without lust
Would men then cheat on spouses neglect thwart trust
And at every swaying dame steal an eyeful
If only the World were such as to be just
Would men then be the lame laid sex without lust

One thing that's puzzled this old duffer
Immediately before the Big Bang was discovered
Was there a big bunch of zip
Or did everything fit
In one tiny atom such as somebody's supper

never met a dream come true such as you
once again God proved me wrong and proved that His Word is True
you showed me a different way to view this abstract world
you made me be still and look when all i did was trample, flip, fall, and twirl
the passion of your sincerity hit me in the head like a tasteful flavor
for the first time in my life i felt as if i was truly in God's Favor
the journeys and the excursions are amazing adventures i will never forget
i pray to God that we will have more experiences that we will never regret
once upon a time i thought the picture in my head was the correct assumption
now i know that true beauty is defined by the simpler ways that i am able to function
with that i say thank you from the most sincere part of my heart
with the hopes that our unique bond and friendship is infinite and our foundation will never part
There is no quiet such as this,
At least none that I know;
Like moonlight on a downy drift,
So fell those flakes of snow.
In a deep dark wood it happened
As the flurries stirred the air--
And the quiet overwhelmed me
Leaving me a captive there.
Bound by such a peaceful sight
I wandered not a bit,
But tarried in that deep, dark wood,
And in reverent awe of it.
Still the chill did overtake me
And most sadly I did go--
But I've not heard such quiet since
As those falling flakes of snow.
A Friend Such as Him
His Love and Friendship I do not doubt
Never have I once seen him distraught
Not his blood brother, not half related,
He grooms another with teeth serrated.
Grudges in his Heart, has he ever kept?
Spirit does not wane; his Eye never wept.
A serene Slave turning another cheek-
In a Dog a Heart of Patience do seek!
***Inspired by a Dog scratching another- wondering how the hell he would know where he has an itch and for what benefit!
***The only time a human being comes so close, is when he is robbing another!
***Should you bestow your heart to Dogs, you're assured of genuine friendship!

I have felt this tug before
On my heart.
I have fought this war of wars
Against the intrusion
Of one so gentle as you...
I have turned my back before,
Yet wanting more and more
To be wrapped in the embrace
Of one such as you,
Hands out stretched with
No promises except for this
Day...minute by minute,
Time flies,
No time for lies.
We must speak not of love, must not
Question our being together,
As others pull at us,
Not knowing what we need.
Let us feed each other tender kisses,
Gorge each other with embraces that
Feed our starving hearts...
Yes, I have been on this road before,
Where the signs read,
Remove all blinders,
You are headed for a fall!
‘I thoroughly believe the time is near,
even in 2012 this year,
the need is quite clear,
stubborn concepts will resist for sure,
to no avail, love’s precept children are dear…
as grapes of wrath and crafts,
write their very own epitaphs’
precept will play spiritual taps,
as precept runs circled laps
around men of olds’ illusionary gaps….
(c Jude 1:3-4 KJV)
when a precept son is on a roll,
wrath of conquests will take its toll,
love will stir concepts of earthen mold,
works found wonting surely will fold,
by hands of some concept on a grassy knoll…
concepts within concepts will fold,
by illusionary hands of illusionary gold,
one Spirit holds even the hands of grassy knoll,
thinking to do their own, they are bold,
one twinkle of a star, the soul is sold…
wallow away as doth children do play
listen to what concepts of children say..
always at play, void of precept in every way
conceited scripts concepts of a play
wallow away, conniptions’ affray'
