Friends Such As These

There are friends and there are friends, most are casual, but some are true. Some are nice but when they can, they will take a little bit, out of you. Maybe I always dreamed, of having a friend, I knew I could really trust. One that had a knack, of making your day, when it was looking like a bust. There are those you didn't choose, but they insisted, so what could you say? Those might be the ones, standing up for you, no matter come what may. Some have too many friends, and there are those, who can count only one. I think that we can all agree, that we need friends, like we need the sun! date:9/4/2019
