Joy* midst Scriptures’ meditation
Communing with God during moments of devotion
Listening to His voice for divine instruction
While drawing nigh to Him plight’s intention
Cognizant that He hearkens to sincere supplication
Geared toward worshipful dedication…
Oh, strengthening gladness of the Lord in action
Empowers my faith for work fruition
Along His gracious constraining motion
Subduing slothfulness’ perdition.
*Nehemiah 8:10 … the joy of the LORD is your strength.

One word is not enough to complete a sentence;
there must be more words defining wholeness;
one voice by itself is too weak to make an effect;
if that voice mingles with others, it has a stronger tone.
One man protesting unfairness is completely ignored;
the audacity of fearless men make them listen and comply.
Worthy ideals that can transform minds are never considered,
only brought to a pitiful ending; all free spirits must react.
One individual standing alone, facing the wrath of opponents
is incapable of bringing evil to justice; more unity is required.

When no one is around he wears his crown to pick me up when I'm down
When I'm lonely with now where to go nowhere to grow he is there never letting me go
When my dreams are foggy when I'm uncertain losing my sight I see his bright light
When I need a hug a kiss a word of encouragement he is there to find to give it
When moments are dark and, I have fallen he is there he walks right up to catch me
When I have lost everything he restores my faith in him
Where would I be without him my life my heart I owe to him
for his name sake I praise for my life he gave me my life I
owe him I know him I adore him I worship his name higher
Than any other I'm safe now in his loving arms.
