I’ve taken many a walk by myself…seen the sunrise…
been greeted by a morning breeze
walked along the streets, the sand…followed a path among the trees.
Walking refreshes my attitude…my outlook
my view of the world as a whole…
It strengthens my heart,
stimulates my mind…and reinvigorates my soul
But as much as walking by myself has served to brighten up my life
a walk is even more inspiring…when walking with my wife.
Away from the encumbrances of technology
walking in the mountain or along the coast
We are reminded of all we have and share…everything that matters most.
But if the joys of walking with my wife are easy to comprehend…
the benefits increase exponentially…when we walk with a friend.
Our hearts, our souls…our minds are constantly surprised…
when we add a new perspective…another set of eyes…
And when we talk to other people on our walk…strangers we meet along the way
I can’t be sure but I have a feeling…it brightens everybody’s day.
Which only goes to prove…
how waking and life can be compared…
for each by itself can be beautiful…but much more beautiful when shared.
And so I wonder when we look for solutions to hate and killing and war…
Would we find the answers more easily….
if we all walked together a little more?

That girds me in my frustration-silence
As You demand my faith’s persistence
Midst doubts’ insistence and trust’s decadence.
Thank You for answering my questions with Your counsel
That enlightens me in my confusion-grapple
As You illumine my understanding with truth’s epistle
Midst obscurity’s darkness and falsity’s wimple.
Thank You for answering my questions with Your wisdom
That corrects me in my ignorance-boredom
As You guide my heart always, not just seldom
Midst lustfulness’ cravings and carnality’s freedom.
Thank You for answering my questions with Your query
That rebukes me in my self-pity’s fury
As You discipline my unbelief of its afflicting injury
Midst bitterness’ sorrow and discontentment’s misery.
Thank You for answering my questions with Your teaching
That strengthens me in my conviction-stretching
As You uphold my steadfastness through Your standards’ preaching
Midst indecency’s entangling and worldliness’ reaching.
Thank You for answering my questions with Your sovereignty
That leads me in my submission-humility
As You overrule my pride’s integrity
Midst haughtiness’ vanity and selfishness’ futility.

Yesteryear cannot deny
memories soft as lullabies
Dreams and wishes began to fade
as tomorrow overtakes yesterday
Wiser maybe foolish still
stubbornness strengthens will
Love and loss of life's way
haunts the stillness of today
Bitterness of overkill
sweetness of exciting thrills
Words spoken in haste
love lost never replaced
I see your face in places been
idle day dreams of us when
Selfish hateful me you taunt
as I pleaded was you I want
Gone from me you tore away
I knew you would not stay
the days grow short nights long
was loving you so, ever wrong
Found others to replace the need
but I looked in them for you to see
No matter how good they were to me
all my love was to deceive
The snow is falling winds are brisk
I walk alone in winters mist
Cold I feel as cold is my heart
yesteryear of you will not depart.
the loving father guides us and strengthens us every single day
if we take a wrong path we hear his voice gently say
my child walk this way,
the loving father comforts us when we are in need
we know we are in safe hands when we always let him take the lead,
he is the one who always understands
he keeps us close to his heart and hold us in his hands,
the loving father is everything you imagine him to be
he is always willing to listen to you and to me,
no matter if i am happy, sad or just feeling a little low
there is no other place that i'd rather go,
if you're in a dillema and not sure what to do
the loving father is the one who will help you get through,
the loving father will turn your sorrow into laughter
he will make you dance with glee
God is the loving father and the loving father he always will be. Amen.

Praise be to God for increasing us more and more:
Building up our faith more powerfully
Bracing up our fortitude more so perfectly
Blessing our faithfulness more prosperously
Breaking our futility toward more productiveness
Blowing our foolishness for more principles and precepts
Psalms 116:1 Praise be to the Lord for
being gracious to us while He:
Secures our salvation by His seal
Settles our souls with His sanctification
Satisfies our spirits around His sufficiency
Strengthens our steadfastness upon His Scriptures
Shields our service along His statutes for stewardship
Psalms 117:2 Praise be to the Saviour for His merciful
kindness is great toward us; so we should:
Love Him with all our trust

Guarding my godliness-evidence
As He strengthens my faith’s essence
Toward service-iridescence
Thru His power’s persistence
Midst carnality’s insistence
And humanism’s preference.
God wins over my intellectual with His counsel
Enlightening my confusion-struggle
As He illumines my understanding’s ripple
Toward stewardship’s pinnacle
Thru His truth’s epistle
Midst doubt’s jingle
And deceit’s bugle.
God wins over my spiritual war with His victory
Sanctifying my guilt-worry
As He pardons* my sinfulness’ fury
Toward purified stewardship's glory
Thru His compassion’s story
Midst wickedness’ injury
And evil’s misery.
*Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

He surely accepts our faith through His blood that justifies
Along our submission as His name our praise magnifies.

Which is zealous because of His divine grace we admire…
He surely honours our faith in His Word He does fully require
Along our surrender as for His favour we aspire.
God reigns in His holiness, and He cleanses our repentant heart
Which is humble to confess and admit His sanctification’s utmost part…
He surely increases our faith, guarding us from evil dart
Along our trust in His promises; since from Him, we will never depart.
God reigns in His holiness, and He calls for our thanksgiving
Which is worshipful to acknowledge blessings we are receiving…
He surely provides with His supplies beyond our thriving
Along our commitment in sharing His Gospel against hell-caused grieving.

Mountains are part of life’s journey,
They’re obstructions that separate us from our treasures,
They’re impediments that divide us and the meadow,
Mountains are signposts to greener pastures.
Each day I see strengthens me to move mountains,
Each night I’m chauffeured through pulls me up the mountain,
The closer I get to the Father,
The higher it takes me up mountains,
The deeper I dig into His Word,
The better cliffhanger I become.
Though some mountains are recalcitrant,
They’re restraints to keep me on track,
They’re pride pruners,
They remind me that I’m not superhuman.
Visions aid me to move mountains,
The future I see strengthens my feeble hands.

MEEK AND WEAK
Meek
Mild and gentle like a sweet child.
Easygoing, does not want to argue with you.
Endures through pain and sorrow.
Kind, forgiving and true.
Weak
W~a~v~e~r~i~n~g between thoughts.
Everyone's punching bag.
Absent of power.
Kicked around.
Meek and Weak
Yet meek, strong-arms weak, through prayer,
strengthens weak with care,
lifts her head, feeds her soup,
offers him a job, helps him to cope.
Twins
In other words ~
Meek and Weak SEEM to be CONJOINED,
but one threatens loss the other W I N S.
For the meek shall inherit the earth.
