Premium MemberI fear

Watching the world of mankind
I find
So much hate I see
I wish to be free
Justifying the things they do
Doesn't have to be true
Fool
I watch hate tearing the world apart.
Scars across my heart
Casual killing thy neighbor
Words like a saber
Cuts the soul deep
Haunted dreams while you sleep
There sits a momma, I can hear her weep
It's own worse enemy is mankind
I have tried to find
A way to tell them a different way
With the words in which I play
About love
Faith in God above
Kindness is the only way
No one seems to hear
I feel the fear
I feel down to my heart
I want no part
My words are a waste
They have no taste
I'm wasting my time
With words that rhyme
I fear
They fail to hear
Life should be held dear
I have no power with my word
They are seldom heard
I'll step back
Let hate continue it's attack
I don't know
Which way to go
Maybe we don't deserve life
Living for strife
We are wiping ourselves out
Hard to stand stout
A tear falls from my eye
Is love a lie
Seems all there is is hate
My words came to late.
 Fire falls from the sky
So many die
For mankind I cry

The Intelligent Thrist

I feel intelligent about myself,
Counting choices, weighing my worth.
Yet bread I buy cannot still my hunger,
Nor wine I pour quench this thirst within.
I feel wise chasing fleeting echoes,
Investing in shadows that slip through hands.
I feel restless, though I name it strength,
I feel certain, yet wander in doubt.
God feels merciful, calling aloud,
Come, eat freely, without price or coin.
He feels patient, while my pride lingers,
Waiting to crown me with peace, not loss.
I feel heavy with thoughts of tomorrow,
My intelligence twists like tangled vines.
I feel strong but secretly hollow,
Hungry for words that never return void.
God feels higher His thoughts the heavens,
His ways the rain that wakens seeds.
He feels joy when deserts blossom,
He feels sure His covenant stands.
I feel distracted by noise of the market,
I feel weary of bargains that fade
I feel longing for rest unbroken,
Longing for rivers no drought can dry.
God feels love without condition,
He feels delight when I finally drink
He feels eternal the feast never ends

Premium MemberA FORCE SO POWERFUL

I didn't understand,
God was holding my hand.

I was lonely,
God was holding my hand.

I was hungry,
God was holding my hand.

I was sick,
God was holding my hand.

I was depressed,
God was holding my hand.

I was anxious,
God was holding my hand.

I was scared,
God was holding my hand.

I was bitter,
God was holding my hand.

I was regretful,
God was holding my hand.

I was angry,
God was holding my hand.

I was greedy,
God was holding my hand.

I was sinful,
God was holding my hand.

I was without faith,
God was holding my hand.

I was suicidal,
God was holding my hand.

I'm still here,
Now I understand,
God is holding my hand.

I wish to see smiles on your face.
They shall appear by Father’s grace.
As you travel down human miles,
on your face, I wish to see smiles.

May joy reside deep in your heart.
I pray God blesses all you start.
Dark and light both lifelong abide.
Deep in your heart may joy reside.

Stop life from fooling with joy’s strength.
It has an endless width and length.
Pain and joy are same class schooling.
With joy’s strength stop life from fooling.

I long for gleaming feels in you.
Always tell yourself what is true.
All hearts have emotions that store.
Gleaming feels in you, I long for.

My God Has Not Failed

My God has not failed, though the world says He has
My God has not failed, though through flames I must pass
Though grief fills my heart, I do not have despair
My Savior still loves me and hears every prayer

My God has not failed, though mere men taunt and laugh
My God has not failed on this difficult path
His Word never said I would not suffer pain
But simply that He also suffered the same

My God has not failed, though my loved one is gone
My God has not failed—He has done me no wrong
My loved one is now like a seed in the ground
Yet out of His death fruit and life shall abound

My God has not failed—He still reigns in the skies
My God has not failed, for He gives me His eyes
To see that this pain has a good end one day
To see all the blessings He leaves on my way

My God has not failed—He is still by my side
My God has not failed, neither left me nor lied
I say to these young ones, “This God is our God.
Since He is our guide, over death we have trod.”

Premium MemberDefiance

       Oh, trouble...trouble, trouble, trouble...
I refuse to let you ruffle feathers of mine.

 High mountain, don't dare stand in my way;
I'll push and claw my way to your summit!

Dear obstacle, I defy you! Put me through
Any test, and I shall pass it; God willing.

Waves

If you’re down and about, and you don’t know where you’re going
That you’re so overcome with doubt, and you know that it’s showing
Just know that you’re not in all alone and each time you made it before
And each time you have grown in getting ready for what's next in store

But you say this time is different You’ve never been at this point before
With depression you’re so hellbent thinking that’ll even the score
But I know you’re going to succeed because that’s your pattern in life
And this lesson you’ll also heed
for the next time that you face strife

And though it may seem so far away, and you’re just not able to make it
So far off of your way that you just want to throw in the towel and quit
Remember what happens when we pray I for you and maybe you for me
That’s when the tides start to sway and your soul starts feeling free

But you have rarely ever prayed before for it’s a God you don’t believe in
Almost to the point you deplore
because you feel as though you can’t win
But that clearly is not the case as he carries you in this very moment
Continually extending you grace in that one day you’ll finally repent

Premium MemberStill Thankful

Only God and prayer can heal it:
The dreadful wound your loss has made.
Find thankfulness and never quit;
Remember to give thanks today.

When melancholy cords arise
Cast dissonance far, far away
Let gratefulness revive your eyes;
Remember to give thanks today.

If you still have someone to love
And a place where a bed is made
You have more than enough thereof;
Remember to give thanks today.

If you have friends that never left
Someone to help you on your way
Thank God of these you’re not bereft
Remember to give thanks today.

If pain can cease for a moment
Use the time to earnestly pray
Too many tears spent in lament
Remember to give thanks today.

Premium MemberPenniless, yet rich in spirit

I can also say that, in my heart, I firmly believe... Since my youth, before bedtime, kneeling on my bare knees, I prayed to God. I prayed that way until I reached the age of 50. From that time onwards, I pray a bit different, but it doesn't matter, the essence is the same, and I pray to God every day. ~ Nikola Tesla

His father was a priest, believing
In the light, the love that completes us
Once they guessed
He’d be a child of darkness, depressed
Life would give him opportunities
To prove that he was blessed
Even the air seemed more alive
Knowing this soul who would indeed thrive
What he gave our world surely impressed

A Quiet Cry

A heart grown weary in silent rain,
No roof to shelter, no meal to gain.
No gentle voice, no hand to hold—
Just aching silence, damp and cold.

I left behind what broke my soul,
A job that crushed what once was whole.
Now I drift with nowhere near,
And all I know is ache and fear.

I do not seek to shame my name,
Nor beg with pride consumed by flame.
I only ask—if one heart sees—
A little help to bring me peace.

Not for always, just for now,
Until I rise again somehow.
A small kind gift to help me leave
This room of silence where I grieve.

I ask with trembling, not with blame,
And pray no one will cast me shame.
Just light enough to cross this night—
And walk once more toward morning's light.

If you can’t give, a prayer will do—
That mercy finds its way back through.
May God still move through hearts unknown,
And guide the lost ones safely home.

The strength of a woman

One day a few years back I met this woman, that I wasn't sure of is she better than me. One thing for sure is we had been raised and lived life's completely opposite. But I began to listen to talk and to laugh with her. As if we new one another all of our life. Friendship without a doubt since that day on. It grew and it grew like we'd known each other our entire lives. We learned a lot mostly shares some very deep stories all of which were true. God had to put you in my path of life because he knew I'd love you. I remember asking you how you woke up every day and smile through it all you told me then , because we have to, The love of your life has passed he told you to ( be sweet ) you told me to suck it up buttercup. As I sit here and watch you fight for your life and giving it all you have shows me how strong you are. I knew that anyway . But I know the strength of a woman that is you. Nap time is over if you're trying to show me something you have that's never give up never think I'm not worthy, but I only thought I was a strong person until I met you. Your strength and support, Dear friend of mine wake up now please I still need you. I love you.

There is Only One Hope

Let the breath of heaven flow with grace,
As the gathering of angels fills this place.
Soaring high, both near and wide,
His Name, our banner, strength and guide.

Refine the oil, let its glow be bright,
Let our lives shine with newfound light.
The table cleared, a meal prepared,
The taste is unknown, yet richly shared.

New strength will rise, our souls renew,
As chaff falls off, our eyes see true.
Soar higher still, both far and near,
Review the vision, make it clear.

Let God reveal the one piece so bold,
That makes the new vision to unfold.
Stop and see the enemy’s sway,
Unusual creatures bring delay.

Yet God brings joy to light our stay,
His Hand will guide, His truth will stay.
Topple the foes who seek control,
Let revival sound where your feet stroll.

Premium MemberSilence Listens

Find fortitude and strength when life gets tough
Keep going when the future's looking rough
Step back from those whose only claim to fame
Is deceitfully blackening your name.

Sadly there are those who will bring you down
Turning smiles upside down and brows to frown
They’ll get their comeuppance, yes that is true
For God knows exactly the bad they do.

He will look out for us, no matter what
Some things are certainly never forgot
So live in the peace that's truly deserved
Enjoy each moment, forget someone's curse.

Silence listens when one’s being back stabbed
One day those guilty will get their own back.

I know my Purpose

I know my Purpose
By Michelle Morris
29/05/2025

I am Brave
Despite the Fear
I remain Brave
Through Hopes and Tears

It's taken Courage
To walk my Path
It's taken Strength
To trust my Heart

Despite the moments
When I feel lost
I focus on believing
In what God wants

I know my Purpose
I know my Soul
I know my Worth
I know my Role

And every day
In every way
I walk in Faith
Remember to Pray

To be the Love
To be the Light
God's Chosen One
Victory and Right

He Loves, He Cares

We make our way through life
We wonder what lies just ahead
The Lord God looks out for us
Jesus is our daily bread
His love is shared abundantly
He cares for each and every one
His goal is to bring us to His side
With God the war is already won
Would you come to the alter of the Lord?
Sing His praises all the day long
Melt His heart with all your love
Show Jesus you want to be so strong
