Dreams are far away 
But steps can be closer 
One by one forward.

All At Once and Step By Step

That creature that walks inside your soul
has become a house cat,
but beasts are beasts after all.

Before the fall and rise
there was just a middle moment
when we were only bewildered angels.

We are still within a puzzle of our own making,
but God is infinitely patient
and She has a long leash.

all the steps a long life has required ~

Step By Step

Seconds turn into days
Days turn into months
So on and on the clock turns
Step by step

Forever searching 
Peace be still
My hearts yearns for truth
Step by Step

Where can I find you
Walk in the grayness
Mountain and valleys
Step by step

Closer and closer to the touch
Facing all fears
Beacon of light
Step by step

Never looking back
Forward becomes growth
Joy in the becoming
Step by step

To suffice the end of the world,
           one step is enough!
           To reach infinity:
            not even the universe reaches...!

Step By Step

I don’t want to fix you.
And I certainly don’t need to be fixed.
But if we were to fix each other, it would be like this.
We'll start 
with our broken smiles
But forget mending a broken heart
because what’s the point on fixing things that are meant to be broken
Like a glass stomped on at a wedding
The heart is meant to shatter and be mended and shatter and be mended and shatter again
Our gazes, though, those can be fixed
My eyes glass over more often than not which has much to do with the depths my mind travels to
Your eyes dart around the room, as if to pace with you,
as if to mimic my anxious mind races.
And those we can ease as well, our anxious minds.
And maybe that will fix enough.
It won't even feel like fixing
because we just might forget that we were ever broken

I Climb the Ladder Rung Step By Step

A rung is spaced between two bars around 18 inches apart 
each foot 12 in height one on top of the other around is a step
 This step I run 
As I climb up,  up, up I stand On high 
On a ladder if I fall 
While I  will I descend to the ground or will I Rise and fly off this ladder 
I climb

Bits and Bites, Step By Step

Bits and bites, that’s how it goes,
I make the steps, the rest to follow
I make them right, and so it goes,
I make them crooked, and dark it goes,
The wrath of a lead, then will follow,

Bits and bites, they got to be right,
To get to the light, of each step taken,
And what’s born, of those that follow,
It’s the curse of a lead, it got to be right,
It got to be right, and so it should go

To reach the limit of the world,
           in one step you achieve ...!
           To reach infinity, neither
           the universe is enough ...!

Step By Step Along the Sand

There's a place I love to walk along
that brings along a breeze in the air
as your feet in the sand leaves its mark
so thrilling having this place so rare

On Bonnie Scotland's country of Ayrshire
at Irvine's beach park on the west coast
looking back over the hilly slopes behind
such a picture of inspiration one can boast

One watches the waves roll in
so fully transforming upon the mind
the ripples of water so soothing
makes your pen move to be signed

Standing watching dogs have fun
splashing among the waters blue
matching the beautiful sky above
a picture indeed looks brand new

Memories of this keep me going
when in bleak winter can't get there
lifts your spirit makes one's ink flow
gives one's writing an added flair

(Writing on my favourite inspirational place to visit uplifting my spirits and give me the needed direction to write with heavenly guidance.)

With each step that I take,
  words jostle and form

Inside me they cluster
  deep down where it’s warm

At nighttime they visit
  in moments of peace

Defining my feelings
  —extending my reach

I marvel on

With Jesus Step By Step

what a privilege to be a Jesus believer
to know His presence so very close
this Jesus unique divine and majestic
for after dying for my sins He arose

Having been made an heir of God
co heir with Jesus as well
adopted in God's chosen family
so to others will go and tell

This Jesus is my closest friend
who sticks by me in thick and thin
caring and guiding all of the way
proving His love forgiving my sin

So many gifts all God given
peace contentment and abiding grace
this world can't begin to compete
with the God who shines in every place

It's such a joy walking with Jesus
every moment knowing He's there
for this saviour is my everything
as with Jesus nobody can ever compare
