Step By Step Along the Sand
There's a place I love to walk along
that brings along a breeze in the air
as your feet in the sand leaves its mark
so thrilling having this place so rare
On Bonnie Scotland's country of Ayrshire
at Irvine's beach park on the west coast
looking back over the hilly slopes behind
such a picture of inspiration one can boast
One watches the waves roll in
so fully transforming upon the mind
the ripples of water so soothing
makes your pen move to be signed
Standing watching dogs have fun
splashing among the waters blue
matching the beautiful sky above
a picture indeed looks brand new
Memories of this keep me going
when in bleak winter can't get there
lifts your spirit makes one's ink flow
gives one's writing an added flair
(Writing on my favourite inspirational place to visit uplifting my spirits and give me the needed direction to write with heavenly guidance.)
