'flit or grit
never will i quit
find thee a space to fit
hopeful target i wish to hit
If determination happens to fall from it wit'
Stand still
For just a moment or two
Look around
And feel the view.
Breathe deep
See the life around
Time isn't promised
And too late is always found.
Close your eyes
And relax your mind
Dreams are a treasure
We struggle to find.
Listen close
And view hope in the sky
Life is unpredictable
And never tells us why.
Look beyond
To feel the deepest part
The essence of a soul
Is where blessings start.
Stand still
For just a moment or two
Take a break from the ordinary
To experience something new.

elaborate ruse
fastination hesitates
time and place confused
Full of anger
Mind feeling defeated
Living through a historical time
A Pandemic got the world at a stand still
Wishing this was a dream
My soul looking for relaxation
Blocking out the chaos of the world
Coronavirus got everyone on edge
Mediation my spirit feel free
Humming away the anxieties
Laughing depression away
Walking fear away
Running towards recovery,
Recovery of tomorrow’s
At a stand still
In time of reflection
Realizing what matters,
What doesn’t matter
Detaching from material things
Reprogramming my reality
Goodbyes to the inconsistent
Reframing from the inconsiderate
At a stand still
Familiar love la familia
Open arms to unconditional love
Manifesting my dreams into reality
Vision my plan of action
Cast away my fears
Clap away my hurts
Dancing to my joy
Breathe in fresh starts
Wash away sorrows
Tear away sadness
Sometimes we need to stand still
And let God do His thing
To get out of His way
And just listen to the angels sing
For it's not always necessary for us to act
God is running this show and we need to just step back
Sometimes we need to stand still
And wait on the Lord
As good things happen to those
Who have patience in all accord
No need to rush about not move with urgency
Pause and let the Lord God prepare your destiny
Sometimes we need to stand still
And simply start to pray
To have a conversation with God
And tell him about your day
For God is omnipotent and omnipresent too
There's nowhere He's not and there's nothing He can't do
So stand still,be patient and just simply be
As God watches over the sparrow as well as you and me
STAND STILL---
Jesus I am on my knees are you listening
God I am praying are you encouraging
Hear me
Fill me
Save me
Keep me
I am calling on you do you hear
Stand still
Jesus I am hungry now where is those words
God I am cold where's my robe
Hear me
Clothe me
Fill me
Save me
Comfort me
Warm me
I am calling on you do you hear
So you answer me in a still small voice

Love you till times stand still
Through the sun, through the rain
Darling I will be right there
Let them say what they have to say
Baby girl I really don't care
All my love is here for you
You don't have to search very far
There is no one else like you
That's my reason why I will love till the times stand still
Through the sun, through the rain
You'll always have my heart
And as long as I am here
Nothing will pull us apart
Yes I know we have our flaws
Still we can go straight to straight
See there is no one else like you
That's my reason why I will love till times stand still
I will love you, love you girl
Love you till times stand still
In the space of time
There's space
No one is around
There's nothing but grace
People moving some good, some bad
Running around the lands
I reach up towards the skies
I see nothing but love
Jesus is all around
Yet I heard the devil
And at my surmise
I close my eyes and here he comes
I stand still
In the atmosphere
Nothing here
God has created all this bliss
I am just to stubborn to care take
There's nothing but grace
People moving some good, some bad
Running around the lands
I close my eyes and here he comes
I stand still
I close my eyes and just pray
I stand still
Jesus is coming soon................

moving shadows in the street... if I stand still for too long they trample me...

Why stand still ..
if time keeps running ..
the distance is real..
and our vision gets blurry!
stand still
tis cold here
on this Christmas day
frigid winds blow in
carry messages
from the wide world
“PEACE ON EARTH”
good will toward men.
did angels really sing those words?
were they able to keep
straight faces?
we wish for Christmas
all the right thoughts in fuzzy cards
Santa Baby give me, give me
sugar daddy to the masses
bring me what I want.
it is right there
ignored by the pushing crowds
able to commit devious acts
to acquire this years toy
or designer runners; to run to what?
the peace is here all around
buckets of it shovelled up
with stained snow and detritus
tossed aside because it is too simple
to be the answer therefore dump it
peace settles on quiet places
unasked for yet, called in by spirit
peace abhors turmoil and strife
created in its name, in the search
for what we already have; if we allow it.
Stand still
so I can paint you
capture your locks
your lovely energy
through the focused
point of a thin brush
scraping on void
canvas space.
Shall I follow the setting sun
and know just one,
so beautiful, tis true
in coral hues,
but lost without the morning?
Perhaps I could, at break of dawn,
towards west move on,
through glistening dew
smell coffees brew
while Sandman's dreams alluding.
Or retreat south at North's first blow,
never knowing snow;
the various shapes
of delicate flakes;
feeling not, a warm fire glowing.
I must, instead, stand perfectly still
to see and feel
what each day brings
to reach my dreams;
each season of life in the making.
Time Does Not Stand Still
Yesterday is remembered
And tomorrow we have not seen
Uncertainty and memories
Surround us in today.
The cycle never changes
And time does not stand still --
Remembrances from yesterday --
And tomorrow, not yet known.
Designs of life surround us
As we live inside today --
Looking back at yesterday --
And, ahead, to – uncertainty.
Yesterday is history --
Tomorrow, who can say?
Today is certain, to a point --
And time does not stand still.

Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
