Sometimes We Need To Stand Still

Sometimes we need to stand still And let God do His thing To get out of His way And just listen to the angels sing For it's not always necessary for us to act God is running this show and we need to just step back Sometimes we need to stand still And wait on the Lord As good things happen to those Who have patience in all accord No need to rush about not move with urgency Pause and let the Lord God prepare your destiny Sometimes we need to stand still And simply start to pray To have a conversation with God And tell him about your day For God is omnipotent and omnipresent too There's nowhere He's not and there's nothing He can't do So stand still,be patient and just simply be As God watches over the sparrow as well as you and me
