The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Stand Still

Stand still
For just a moment or two
Look around
And feel the view.

Breathe deep
See the life around
Time isn't promised
And too late is always found.

Close your eyes
And relax your mind
Dreams are a treasure
We struggle to find.

Listen close
And view hope in the sky
Life is unpredictable
And never tells us why.

Look beyond
To feel the deepest part
The essence of a soul
Is where blessings start.

Stand still
For just a moment or two
Take a break from the ordinary
To experience something new.

This is what I love to find. Rhyming that makes you think.

I love this poem...each stanza rings so true and says it poetically. Relaxing the mind is heavenly, indeed!
