Divine Disruption

Why do you even care about a comfort zone?
You're gonna feel it deep within your bones
The underworld will keep throwing stones
Until you learn to adapt and dare to atone.

Note: "Underworld" in this context: unhealed people on the internet who operate from their shadow selves (trolls/incels/online bullies/etc). "Underworld" in this context also means "unwanted." Usually, when I talk about the underworld, I mean it in a spiritual death/rebirth/transmutation sense. But that's not how I mean it in this poem.

Borne In The Heart

There is a gentle whisper, deep inside the heart,
it tries to show the way, for us to do our part.
It’s gentle tugging, to fill our heart with love,
to move in peace, as we live in God above.
To learn to forgive, as we have also been forgiven,
learning to love, makes life more worth the liven.
To walk in His goodness, and to hear His voice,
to be led by His whisper, is only by our choice.
The HolySpirit, strives with us each day,
to listen to His pleading, from the bitterness, walk away.
Those thing’s of the darkness, they’re borne in the heart,
they bring forth a spiritual death, when we give them part.
We know what is good and bad, dark and light,
that gentle whisper guides us, to do what is right.
On the other hand, this driving force is clear,
where there is no love, chaos draweth near.

Premium Member Everything is about choices

You can choose to believe
in yourself
and make something
of your life,
or you can choose
to do nothing
and merely take up time
and space.
You can choose to make
each day a beautiful day,
or you can choose
to walk around in misery
and full of anger.
You can choose to make
a difference in this world,
or you can choose
to complain about everything
and do nothing to change
anything.
You can choose to be
a leader and an innovator,
or you can choose
to follow the crowd
and wander aimlessly through
life.
You can choose
God and everlasting life,
or you can choose sin
and spiritual death.
Everything is about choices.

Premium Member The Death of My Soul

In my chair, I sat, pure as the light/
When the Holy Spirit came with its might/
An outward explosion, a thunderous purge/
To banish the evil, to cleanse and emerge/

But I was a Saint, a soul unblemished/
Calm and serene, a power replenished/
Confusion stirred, its effort in vain/
Lightning crackled, I felt no pain/

Booming thunder, a storm's command/
Yet I stood stronger, my spirit unmanned/
The third attempt, a futile endeavor/
Power profound, fearless forever/

From ashes reborn, Hell now my home/
A fire unimaginable, I stand alone/
The Holy Spitit's trial, what did it achieve/
A Luciferian Saint with strength to believe/

Premium Member deciding to follow my own path

I am on the path to escape death she said.
wondering how she intended to do it
I followed her around for a day or two

you mean escape spiritual death or flesh death?
her freckled face stared at my ignorance
I do not believe in spiritual anything, she said

I felt strongly then
that any escaping she planned to do
was not going to work

so I decided to follow my own path
thinking my ideas are more sound than hers could ever be

Ar

Was being dead soothing? it’s been said enough, World - i’ve been up before the morning sun.

Premium Member God's Sufficient Provision For All Sinners - Luke 5: 32

Ever since Adam sinned at the fall
sin has entered every human alive
bringing spiritual death upon us all
lost forever no matter how we strive

God has worked out a perfect plan
sending His own dear son to rescue man
this would take Him to Calvary's cross
shedding His blood for His own clan

But man hates to accept God's truth
for the gospel declares God's great love
showing how great He loves sinners
will man believe God is enough?

God's call to sinners to repent
sounds forth to every listening ear
that Jesus is the only sure way
to receive forgiveness that's so dear

God's sufficient provision for all sinners
His call is still open to the day
salvation is found only in Jesus Christ
eternal life is the prize for all who obey

("I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”)
Luke 5: 32 (esv)

Premium Member God's Particular Love - John 3: 16

God so loved the world
a world rejecting this love
but God elected out of mercy
His own flock destined for above

That He gave His only son
to go all the way to Golgotha
dying for the sins of His own
this planned by the divine author

That whoever believes in Him
believing in Jesus brings salvation
as God calls come and be saved
from every tribe, tongue and nation

May not die but have eternal life
God desires blessing for His own sheep
So to escape eternal spiritual death
but receive endless redemption to keep

The gospel of John chapter 3 verse 16
has an amazing promise to all
having a particular love on whoever
to not die but obey His urgent call

('God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him may not die but have eternal life' John 3:16)

Premium Member Revival From the Lord

Quickened by the Lord from grievous spiritual death,
I’m alive in Christ, bestowed with eternal life
Having the Holy Spirit actively working
My soul always longs for triumphant revival.

As human frailty grips my carnal personhood
I confess succumbing to temptation’s attacks
Thus, I need God’s power of revival fervor
To lift me up against sin-caused distress and fall.

Cleaving to my Saviour’s grace and mercy
I persevere for righteous service endeavours
Knowing that He leads me by His perfect wisdom
Ready to revive* me for faithful stewardship tasks.

*Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

A Losing Battle

As i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i feel alone
I live in a place that is supposed to feel like home
The emotional disconnect captives my family
So many things to say and no time to say it
We’re losing our minds trying to keep it
So often we just barely keep our heads above water
Its hard to keep afloat with broken feelings dragging us down
The need to be understood causes us to drown

The ability to watch your spiritual death is a curse
To see everything you could do to make things better but only make it worst
I am buried in disgrace
I am entombed in depression
I smile with beautiful lies
The happy people are the ones that cry
The ones that have to turn the other cheek
The ones that could steal everyones attention but choose to be meek
Their smile belongs to every tear that disappears under their chin
Their smile is the price of love
I wonder why happy people don’t give up

Premium Member Won By the Lord

The Lord won my soul
from iniquities’ wages...
imparting to me
His divine nature;*
He conquered my sinful flesh
against worldly filthiness
by His regeneration-mercy…
Vanquishing my condemned state
Of spiritual death due to transgressions
He declared me as righteous
thru His justification-might;
Now, I'm heaven-bound
by virtue of His holiness
to live for Him upon faith's power.

*2Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

One More Time

When the time comes for me to go
and I know not what my fate may be,
let me have one final moment Lord
to breathe in the peony.
Let me walk the trail to Mingo Falls,
and hear the thunder roar
one more time.

When my last day has arrived
and I must say goodbye,
Let me hear the sweet, sweet laughter
of my children one last time.
Let them feel the joy in my heart
as they kiss me before I part
one more time.

When it is time to close the pages
of the book of life for me,
let me write just one more poem
that will last eternally.
Let me leave a lasting token
of this passion I hold dear
one more time.

When I take my final bow
on the stage of God’s green earth,
may I leave a lasting legacy
to reveal what life is worth.
May the ones whom I hold dearly
know how much they meant to me
as they read through all these pages

one more time…

Furtive Screams of a Christian

Though I've created my own Egypt
Doing things as if God does not exist.
Could not wait for the unknown.
I'm burning with passion, inflamed with lust.

Just! Because sin is the matter in the heart.
I was told the lies that are almost the truth
My mind sponged sinful ideas,
and was left illegally unfolded
to the dregs of morals beyond repairs.

As a result the pain is too deep
Piercing and violating my soul
grabbing where it is small, drilled by guilt.
I can feel each wrenching twists and turns
I think I am not worthy for this Title.

I'm being convicted a sinner
My reasoning is the reasoning of a rebellious child,
according to the scripture.
been distanced by the code of conduct of Salvation.
I am not worthy for this Title.

Listen!
You cannot pen down this poem without my Pangs.

This is the immortal battle field
as an inside belly foetus
caged, struggling for rebirth.
tangled with sinful cords
choked to spiritual death.

This is not onion dialogue
but a cry for Redemption.
Judge me on your way to your knees Brethren!

Wintery Prisms

It’s an antique brass urn
Now the coldest day at noon
And the crystals snowflakes gather
There is a prism in my room
It's chilling, in here, I noticed, picking up your urn
Speechless, I stood, having nothing to say
In quietness, from my eye, as I began to turn
A white feather floated, lingering in a sun-ray
Dangling freely in the air, it looked, if to loom
Are you here? I sober, on this icy frozen day
In the silence, now hearing a specific tune
The one you so loved to hum and pray
That feather came to rest upon my lonely pillow
Is this a sign, I then asked, did you come to lay?
Outside blows the bare branches of a Willow
“Yes, once we were, lets be forever, if we may.“
It’s an antique brass urn
Now the coldest day at noon
And the crystals snowflakes gather
There is a prism in my room

In Christ: Confidence In Our Salvation

In Christ, we were chosen by God's grace
To be a people of his holy race
Before the creation of the world took place
Prior to the existence of time and space

In Christ, God has called us from our sins
Transformed in Christ-likeness from within
From spiritual death, we are redeemed
Through Jesus' death, we have life in him

The wrath of God has been withdrawn
The sting of death is passed and gone
Have no fear for after night comes dawn
Where we will join our Lord in heavenly song
