Best Spiritual Death Poems

Premium Member What Easter Meant For Us

I want to write a poem about Easter for you Lord
Easter is a special Day
A day that you had died for us and were raised from the dead
A day when one’s sins are forgiven once they believe in You
And accept You as their Savior
A day where one becomes new as you raised from the dead
So he or she is raised from the spiritual death
A day to celebrate Life –the Eternal Life
Your Life, our Life
Life is possible only after you obeyed and followed your Father’s will
Life is possible only after you endured the pain and gave up your life
It’s because of You that we now can be with you and have Life - eternal
The sacrificial Lamb
Because of You Jesus, our sins are forgiven and we are perfect in God’s eyes
Because of You, we can enjoy the life here now on earth and then will too in Heaven
We are new creations –our old ones are gone
We are free
No longer bound to sins and death
Because of You, nothing can touch us
We are separated by the Blood of the King
Because of You, we received our healing in advance
You paid with your life for us at Calvary
God did not forsake You
Just like He did not forsake us
And sent You to take our place
Thank you Jesus for what you’ve done
Died in our place – You who have no sins
Became sins for us
Jesus, that is what Easter meant for us
Indebted to you Lord
Forever our Rescuer, Redeemer, Deliverer
Savior
Forever Our greatest King

One More Time

When the time comes for me to go
and I know not what my fate may be,
let me have one final moment Lord
to breathe in the peony.
Let me walk the trail to Mingo Falls,
and hear the thunder roar
one more time.

When my last day has arrived
and I must say goodbye,
Let me hear the sweet, sweet laughter
of my children one last time.
Let them feel the joy in my heart
as they kiss me before I part
one more time.

When it is time to close the pages
of the book of life for me,
let me write just one more poem
that will last eternally.
Let me leave a lasting token
of this passion I hold dear
one more time.

When I take my final bow
on the stage of God’s green earth,
may I leave a lasting legacy
to reveal what life is worth.
May the ones whom I hold dearly
know how much they meant to me
as they read through all these pages

one more time…

Premium Member Everything is about choices

You can choose to believe
in yourself
and make something
of your life,
or you can choose
to do nothing
and merely take up time
and space.
You can choose to make
each day a beautiful day,
or you can choose
to walk around in misery
and full of anger.
You can choose to make
a difference in this world,
or you can choose
to complain about everything
and do nothing to change
anything.
You can choose to be
a leader and an innovator,
or you can choose
to follow the crowd
and wander aimlessly through
life.
You can choose
God and everlasting life,
or you can choose sin
and spiritual death.
Everything is about choices.

Furtive Screams of a Christian

Though I've created my own Egypt
Doing things as if God does not exist.
Could not wait for the unknown.
I'm burning with passion, inflamed with lust.

Just! Because sin is the matter in the heart.
I was told the lies that are almost the truth
My mind sponged sinful ideas,
and was left illegally unfolded
to the dregs of morals beyond repairs.

As a result the pain is too deep
Piercing and violating my soul
grabbing where it is small, drilled by guilt.
I can feel each wrenching twists and turns
I think I am not worthy for this Title.

I'm being convicted a sinner
My reasoning is the reasoning of a rebellious child,
according to the scripture.
been distanced by the code of conduct of Salvation.
I am not worthy for this Title.

Listen!
You cannot pen down this poem without my Pangs.

This is the immortal battle field
as an inside belly foetus
caged, struggling for rebirth.
tangled with sinful cords
choked to spiritual death.

This is not onion dialogue
but a cry for Redemption.
Judge me on your way to your knees Brethren!

Premium Member ''In Hades Flows a Stygian River''

In Hades flows a Stygian river
of sorrows—a river of great despair!
It's a spiritual death that we all share
that napalms our lives and rots our liver.
Beware! Its undercurrent of dire doom
drowns us with heartless joy—it does not care,
and burdens us with more than we can bear.
We're like cadavers in a cold, stone tomb
from which can be felt and heard the death knell
where heaven is laid waste and God is dead,
as if we’re just a breath away from hell.
Here, where living souls dare not swim or tread,
we are like phantoms—like ghosts in a shell.
Yet, we fear not hell. But despair we dread!

Independence Day

“Merdeka! Merdeka!” was freedom’s cry
Triumphant shouts were raised high to the sky
This momentous day, no one could deny
An enacted freedom, none could defy

We live in a world that longs for freedom
Freedom from crooked and corrupt systems
Freedom from ruthless, repressive kingdoms
Freedom from oppressive despotism

We are citizens who long to be free
Free from the fetters of authority
Free from the shackles of society
Free from the burdens of uncertainty

True freedom seems like an elusive dream
We see evil men escape with their schemes
In anguish, we let out a silent scream
Nothing can mend the big tear at the seams

Since creation, men sought independence
They sought independence from Providence
They waved their puny fists in insolence
They rejected God’s rule in defiance

So God gave to them the freedom they craved
Instead of finding joy, they were enslaved
Their pathway to spiritual death they paved
But God paved a way for them to be saved

Jesus came as a ransom for sinners
On the cross, He saved us from sin’s fetters
His death reconciled us to the Father
Freedom from sin – the joy of believers

Have you found the freedom you’re looking for?
Has rejecting God left you wanting more?
Jesus says, “Trust me, for I am the door”
In Christ is where true freedom is in store

The Garden of Morning Prayer

Sitting saying morning prayers, all in our own way.
Early riser, prayer said, coffee made, it starts the day.
God comes to me instantly when I rise.
So I know I’m safe, always having a good thought at sunrise!

The state of affairs in this world just mystifies me.
As the Holy Bible does; man’s killing nature has never left, it’s continually.
Ever since “The Word” ever since God’s judgment from the garden, since Adam’s
First breath.
Man has faced the most horrible fate, the prospect of a great spiritual death.

Think on it, thrown from God’s Spiritual Garden, cast to the earth.
Guess who? The serpent, of old, the master deceiver! Here long before our birth.
An evil disobedient Son of God, cast to rule this corrupted earth, amongst men.
We’ve all gotten our chance to listen, here, and find God’s Son, a loving Son called Jesus, needed to enter God’s Kingdom.

The Commandment, Number 6, “Thou shall not kill!”
We are stubborn, won’t listen to the God that has the power to terminate us at His will!
Carnal man has turned, transgressed against the Laws of God! Spiritually we have incurred His wrath!
Think on it, He knows all, He knows things to happen.
Shortly, carnal man will see the Father, we are on His path.

Mankind, through centuries has always tried to solve problems.
Forgetting the Law,
Solving problems without “Love” God’s command.
Without God deciding, is what sticks in the Father’s craw.

Love, Spiritual Love, all comes from the Father, Creator, First, foremost The Lord!
Hearing, seeing, reading will make us understand the Word.
No other God before me, man made idols, false teachers, all foretold in the Holy Bible.
First, lastly, the Holy Bible interprets itself; don’t believe me, “Prove All Things!”
It will save your spiritual revival.

In Christ: Confidence In Our Salvation

In Christ, we were chosen by God's grace
To be a people of his holy race
Before the creation of the world took place
Prior to the existence of time and space

In Christ, God has called us from our sins
Transformed in Christ-likeness from within
From spiritual death, we are redeemed
Through Jesus' death, we have life in him

The wrath of God has been withdrawn
The sting of death is passed and gone
Have no fear for after night comes dawn
Where we will join our Lord in heavenly song

Premium Member Revival From the Lord

Quickened by the Lord from grievous spiritual death,
I’m alive in Christ, bestowed with eternal life
Having the Holy Spirit actively working
My soul always longs for triumphant revival.

As human frailty grips my carnal personhood
I confess succumbing to temptation’s attacks
Thus, I need God’s power of revival fervor
To lift me up against sin-caused distress and fall.

Cleaving to my Saviour’s grace and mercy
I persevere for righteous service endeavours
Knowing that He leads me by His perfect wisdom
Ready to revive* me for faithful stewardship tasks.

*Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Premium Member The Death of My Soul

In my chair, I sat, pure as the light/
When the Holy Spirit came with its might/
An outward explosion, a thunderous purge/
To banish the evil, to cleanse and emerge/

But I was a Saint, a soul unblemished/
Calm and serene, a power replenished/
Confusion stirred, its effort in vain/
Lightning crackled, I felt no pain/

Booming thunder, a storm's command/
Yet I stood stronger, my spirit unmanned/
The third attempt, a futile endeavor/
Power profound, fearless forever/

From ashes reborn, Hell now my home/
A fire unimaginable, I stand alone/
The Holy Spitit's trial, what did it achieve/
A Luciferian Saint with strength to believe/

Wintery Prisms

It’s an antique brass urn
Now the coldest day at noon
And the crystals snowflakes gather
There is a prism in my room
It's chilling, in here, I noticed, picking up your urn
Speechless, I stood, having nothing to say
In quietness, from my eye, as I began to turn
A white feather floated, lingering in a sun-ray
Dangling freely in the air, it looked, if to loom
Are you here? I sober, on this icy frozen day
In the silence, now hearing a specific tune
The one you so loved to hum and pray
That feather came to rest upon my lonely pillow
Is this a sign, I then asked, did you come to lay?
Outside blows the bare branches of a Willow
“Yes, once we were, lets be forever, if we may.“
It’s an antique brass urn
Now the coldest day at noon
And the crystals snowflakes gather
There is a prism in my room

Two Kinds of Wisdom

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.
This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Biblical quote: James 3: 13-18

When a discriminator hides behind worldly wisdom , it is so easy to find out his "her" real personality.
When a racist hides behind fake love,
It is so easy to find out about his " her" true face.
This world is divided because of many so called wise people who are deep carnally than spiritually.
They try to understand things
which they see with their eyes
and fail to focus on the creatures
 which they don't see....
Example :
                  Wind  , Breath
        Evil,                             Good,
              Death,                Life,
                 Curse, Blessing...

Whose  wise saw and touched Wind?
How many wises were victims of Wind?
Wind is a creature as other  creatures of God
Seeing the manifestation of Wind
does not mean to see Wind.

Prophets of Babylon were cutting their bodies
with razors to be heard by an idol called Baal
and they were  called wise prophets.
Don't laugh yourself after hearing these thoughts.
Imagine this type of belief on earth,
Which seems spiritual death.
How could a man made idol see their bloody bodies?
Prophet Hosea said," my people are destroyed
for  lack of  knowledge."

Knowledge can be given freely
but understandings costly.
A person with heavenly
wisdom understands
worldly and spiritual things.

Premium Member Spirit Don'T Change

I sound the same
I expect that I sounded different in my oldest poems
As I have changed
But I found that I was still the same spirited, kicking, take it or leave it Dynamo as I am now
So your and my spirit never change
Only we change
If our spirit does not change
Then what changed?
The person
The flesh
The Bible says "those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires" as in Galatians 5:24
That means it can be changed
But can we change our spirit if we want to?
Can we make it happy or sad or bad?
No
We cannot control it
It always stays constant
whether we are happy or sad or bad
Did you ever see your spirit man rise up in you
in moments of indignation, frustration, vexation?
That is your spirit kicking in
It does not earn that name for nothing
Everybody has a spirit
that keeps you from dying
whether it's a spiritual death or a live one
It can lay dormant
Or burst up in a moment's notice
Don't evoke it
Or you will with it's wrath
I am talking for another person's notice
And it will go the same for you
Don't incur another's wrath
Because you are messing with a person's being
That's about it for now
Some education for you
Go find something to do
Don't incur my wrath haha

Premium Member Won By the Lord

The Lord won my soul
from iniquities’ wages...
imparting to me
His divine nature;*
He conquered my sinful flesh
against worldly filthiness
by His regeneration-mercy…
Vanquishing my condemned state
Of spiritual death due to transgressions
He declared me as righteous
thru His justification-might;
Now, I'm heaven-bound
by virtue of His holiness
to live for Him upon faith's power.

*2Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
