In Christ: Confidence In Our Salvation

In Christ, we were chosen by God's grace
To be a people of his holy race
Before the creation of the world took place
Prior to the existence of time and space

In Christ, God has called us from our sins
Transformed in Christ-likeness from within
From spiritual death, we are redeemed
Through Jesus' death, we have life in him

The wrath of God has been withdrawn
The sting of death is passed and gone
Have no fear for after night comes dawn
Where we will join our Lord in heavenly song

Yes, isn't wonderful that we can have confidence in our salvation in Christ? This was one of my earlier poems. Thus, it is more simple. I wrote it based on a sermon I heard some years back.
