I treasure the moments
when my eyes catch an animal
hopping through a field of flowers 
or even just a plain field.

In my headspace,
I metaphorically become both
the field and the rabbit.

Jumping through a field of flowers
feels like an intrusive jubilation
a sudden burst of hope,
a quiet sign that all will be well.

But a plain field speaks differently.

In loving memory of our Mark,
Better known to most as Skip,
Reunited with Clegg up in paradise now,
Best friends back joined at the hip.

From thrashing about on his motorbikes,
Revving the **** out them in crickmere park,
To his mams house bouncing with hardcore,
As skip raved away to M.C's and afterdark.

He absolutely loved to spend time with family,

My dinner

My dinner is often late now,
That's totally against my wish,
It is what I'll never allow,
I have to skip this late night dish,

I just want to reduce my fat,
I need to make my tummy flat.

I Was a Jump, Skip and a Hop

i ignored their existence, except for one snapshot.
i didn’t know you could shop. i was not caught

up in the spiral, the velocity, the thunder to the top.
where was i? i was a jump, skip and a hop

away from eternity. it was burning, all the rage.
the celebrants would ne’er more celebrate, engage.

My dog threw up today.
not once. Six times.

So she would not lose her grip

Tossing the rope over her head
That's when everything went awry
Her face went extremely red
As the rope hit her in the eye

She was determined to win

Into deep woods I strolled one day, with my twin sister,
For if I had gone alone, I surely would have missed her.
We were looking for wild strawberries, but we got lost,
Under the warm sun shining, as breezes blew very soft.

We wandered for a while, then we sat to rest by a lake,

Sure, I'm out of shape...
But must the distributors
of my frozen meal
insult me by instructing,
stir and recover?

I'm stepping out of the shower
with the towel wrapped around my waist,
the doorbell rings, I trip on my shoes...

it is my turn to hop!

a game we love to play,
out with all my girl troop,
till evening fades away!

my cheeks are glowing red!

Skip around twists and turns in life,
like only a dancer
forever in music is lost.
With grace God adorns her.

Her passage marks my soul
with fineness, like old gold
makes an adornment whole.

Scorn the risks; scorn the storms,
