Shutter Bug

The big problem we have today,
no one will lend a helping hand.
Until they’ve pulled out their cell phones,
to take all the pictures they can.

There’s nowhere left for us to run,
they see inside each hiding place.
All the thoughts that we’ve ever had,
are being broadcast into space.

No one really cares anymore,
about trying to find the truth.
As long as they are the first one,
to bring the latest made-up news.

The power of the media,
has put dark blinders on our eyes.
We can’t see any path forward,
because we can’t get past their lies.

You think this is a fantasy,
but the time is going to come.
Each choice we make will be scripted,
and all our freedoms will be gone.

Poor Putter Who Would Stutter So Did Shutter

went on rampage
they never would act their age
creating much rage

what we always did dread
had nightmares sleeping in bed
more people were dead

when willow did weep
we would count the wooly sheep
soon were sound asleep

behind was facade
our minds they would seem to prod
God will love and laud

in field sheep herder
fence supported by girder
news mentioned murder

such a poor putter
when we had heard him stutter
would often shutter

Shutter of Time

Absence makes the heart grow fonder
So they say from years and I'd wonder
If life should be spent, together souls as one
Moon rise as one, we'd be as the falling sun

The sunrise tale of of life as we know it
Is full of hate, greed, lies, lust, and guilt
Broken dreams that one throws at a fork
Up to those on which minds and Souls - Long or short.

If you throw a Stone across the water
It will jump, hop, skip and drop like a quarter
Or it can find the other end of the pond to continue on
And a lifetime of journeys begins in one cannery song

She sings about the hearts that are one
The Joy's of hearts flowing like a sea way into the sun
Capturing picture moments in a memory of time
A second glance at life's rhyme

Shutter Speed

As I travel at warp speed
Through time, it seemed
Motionless and surreal
As my molecules
Tries to catch-up
With my body
Giving away my
Sense of smell
Touch and sight
Until I explode

Wide Open Shutter

A fiery red dress infused in yellow sunflowers
green meadows vibrant in a rainbow glamour
smiling eyes shine a lattice of unseen colors
in thousand snapshots of paparazzi clamour

enraptured in your spotlight of radiant flame
zooming in and out my eyes close and blink
in your fireplace my heart, a wild child in tame
wistfully unfocused, I rise and float, then sink

your photogenic frame, in a wide open shutter
love races in speed, it's an exposure mismatch
"photography not allowed", flashes in a flutter
picture saved in darkroom of my cactus patch.

Sadly, Shutter Speed

When I was new in photography,
I was hoping an adventure;
But by the end of the day
Just a lecture.

Then they picked up camera,
Aimed at a deer.
It captured even food stuck in its teeth.
They smiled and said,
“What slowed down the dear,
Is shutter speed.”

At home, In front of TV,
I was just lying.
It cried, “Tonight,
Meteors will be falling.”

At night, It struck,
I picked camera
And then woke up.

Waited whole night
And got a line,
Captured in camera.
Next day, at nine,
I presented picture.
They looked with no heed,
They smiled and said,
“All black, sadly, Shutter speed.”

Race for life! Eyes click click!

Soaring high, measured round,
focussed search on the ground,
Talons poised for a sharp pick,
bunny dodges! Eyes Click, click!

Hooded hiss a deadly charmer,
Forked tongue, venom streamer,
Smooth, soft, and shining slick,
A Flying lizard! Eyes click click!

Sculpted beauty on the cat walk,
Whispers, whistles, it’s fashion talk,
Shutter speed and aperture trick,
A glorious shot! Camera click click!

A black box with a hole and lens,
Retinal screen with light balance,
man made camera size of a brick,
God’s tiny creation! Eyes win click!

Shutter Mind

Tripped down in a shutter when i met you, now stuck in a mindgame/, in a psychopath's hold i try to remain sane/

Your words cleaves me/, your hands strokes me/, things i once fell for now decieves me/ and chokes me/

You terrorizing me/, investigating me/, furiously obscene/, using my body creating your own crime scene/, blue fingerprints all over, but for others to over see/

I hear your whispers at all time/, like a schizofrenic i become, when your violent thoughts interact with mine/. Maybe there is illness in my state of mind/, but before you, i sure was fine/

Playing your role posessed with mad hate/, an addiction/, for me it's only affliction/, what is fake/, what is fiction/

Repeatingly you pushing me over the cliff side/, just to leave me hanging, begging for your hand, so that you can, as you always do flip side/

Trying to play along to survive this mental manuskript/, but im outstripped/ and you just atone like there has been no conflict/

Shutter Speed

shutter blink shutter speed

hold still i say, i will get the poloroid.

  shutter catch, shutter hold,
  some faithful happy side.

there is a golden resin in the air
and it settles in still time on
  square shells.

 thumbtacks and window light catalouge
are bright faces down the hall.

such a silly merchant desire kept
  in are eyes still unfocused.

Shutter

Your like a device in a camera
that open and closes my heart.
At times your turned off so long
Then it opens creating art.

There is no reason
was this peace should arise
For there was never a time
that we created solid ties.

The side effects of you
have never gone away.
I've grown to realize
It can't ever be conveyed.

The only moment that has
forever held its weight.
Is staring eye to eye
Never having to dictate.

You are the only one
whom I've never held anger for
I always just get it
And unconditionally adored.

So that is my story
and i'm sticking to it.
No more or no less
Silently your soul transmits.
