in an unseen giant's hands:
the deft squirrels probing,
penetrating lush leafage,
spanning tangled trees' branches.
Tangled thoughts tumble
onto yarns of jumbled concepts,
which form ideas
that weave raw perceptions
into cashmere images.
Tangled in a web that is woven
Thinned out thread once golden
Captured in a love so divine
Now sowed together time after time
I AM LOST
ALL IS GONE
ANYTHING THAT MATTERED
WASHED AWAY
INTO THE DARK TIDE
TANGLED METAL
SILENCED LOVE
THIS TWISTED HEARTBREAK.
I saw an ant
Tangled in a spider's web
My heart gave a lurch
As to the ant I said,
“I am trapped like you,
And soon I might die too.”
your five fingers tangled in mine, this deceptive even possessive breed of love, of lust, only cowards would truly trust, a "take my hand"...

winking

Milk and honey,
sun-kissed and tangled,
spill into a river made of silk -
it clings to the sway of her hips.
Hazelnut, are the eyes, stalking.

For Raul's Rhythm of the Falls Contest
Please don't be distressed,
It's become a tangled mess.
You don't want me here.
Every meeting has its end,
Perhaps someday we'll be friends.
Tangled seaweed shore
sharp in salt and sweet decay
Crab claws still clenched shut
in defense of losing prey
Sun, to bleach, is on it's way...
We got tangled up in bed
Our legs, hands, fingers, bodies
Unnaturally twisted, intertwined
All crazy angles…
Why? Because of Kama Sutra typos!
Tearfully,
while begging for forgiveness,
she explains
to her boyfriend
how
in a moment of weakness
she made love to
her husband
Nature favors thy silence
In this blindfold form
A tangled task with blood ties
What honor mocks here, thus we
Mute moths to deceive dragons
Dragon’s tail is dragg’in still;
He’s been prescribed many pills.
Tangled with Opossum brood;
his tail’s been re-glued.
Newfangled in its essence
A tangled quintessence

FOR IN ITS ESSENCE CONTEST!
Obscured, distorted
by dense wood and tangled vines
Perfectly aimed flash
Gentle blue/white beam
pierces eye and frigid heart
finding a lost soul...
Overconfident
practice makes perfect we guessed
tango contest thrill
we moved and were dressed to kill
ending dance in tangled spill
9-1-17
They dance with fools in endless loops
Then flinch when theirs collide with ours
And from a distance no one sees
Who wears the crown and who the scars
The deeper I go
The deeper I sink
Weightless but heavy
My heart starts to speak
Tangled in you
My mind is a mess
It's torn and exposed
Like open flesh.
Maybe it's the bad boy attraction
Maybe it's the need to spice up her life
Maybe it's the fire of her self defence mechanism
That keeps her tangled in his angle
Smudge of dirt
upon his cheek.
Scratch on his left knee.
Curly hair
a tangled mess.
Reminding me

My guardian to be!
Here lies Sir Jonathan Smoot
Unfortunately wearing only one boot,
He tangled with an alligator
And failed to say, “I’ll see you later!”

Twisted; you're a mystery
Unraveled; turned out a misery
Tangled; you're undefinable
Deciphered; near yet unreachable
Discovered; I love you
Ended; I watch you go
Complexity
tangled, layered
multiplying, twisting, obscuring
knots of thought and motion
clearing, softening, opening
quiet, spacious
Simplicity
