The soft, moist, pink flesh
of her lips quivered, as he
came inside her room

'Twas so hot that I shivered
My lips so dry they quivered
Salty tears clouded my eyes
my plumbing bowdlerized

The stones quivered,
pulsing in her hands
their beauty enthralling.

Sparks of the Divine
Shined hot between yours and mine:
Lips pressed together,
Hips overlapping closer,
Bodies quivered all over.

In June I sought the desert phlox
That I might smell its homesome musk
It quivered like the desert fox
Foraging in the lonesome dusk.

You walked in; my heart quivered.
A blush came over my face.
I contained my emotion.
You knew, anyway.

Alone beside calm diary edge
Faraway gardens heard
Icy Jonquils kissed loneliness!
My necklace of pearls quivered...
Rusted sun-rays to unlove Violets,
When Xeronema yearns zenith..

A seeming kindness and gentleness wooed me
and like a wounded dove beneath your hand, I quivered.
To calm a flight filled heart was your decree
and yet conquest and not contact was delivered,
wanting, waiting, for your touch, I shivered.

They altered her name to match with his'.
They changed her biological parents to avoid interclan.
Everyone said that it's customary and she has to get down to it.
She quivered like a withered leaf on a cold winter's night - couldn't escape the chillness.

Knees quivered, but he stood
Keeping breaths in control.
Kata after kata
Kicked out years of fat and
Ketch up. For this, he'd a
Knack! The cute girl from work
Knocked him out on day two.

I can still feel the butterflies unleashed by your first touch
My belly quivered in anticipation
I can still trace the essence of Vetiver in the air
Sensual exhilaration
Though it's been 30 years since our hearts first beat together,
I can still hear the ticking of your clock
Threatening my retreat

my sorrow bears
leaves of jacaranda
purple eyes the flower,
the fear,
a dank damp cloth of night
covered my face
smothering
the lust
that quivered
a human lake
moving
a specter’s hands
stole Mercury’s face
of banality
together
the fear,
of hands
that lust
disassembled

Blank verse
He touched her soul
He touched her deep
Now she is left to weep
He was the depth of her
“Tears of Regret”
Tears like a river
Remembering how she quivered
Falling in tumbler
Regrets, reminiscing
Second guessing
Time passing without noticing
Wasted hours, days and months
Occupied with this pain

Prose Poetry
Shadows almost swift
Beyond learning's reflection
Quivered from the eaves
I thought thatch did smell
Strange upon the nose urban
And made words polite
Hanging on child's eye
Though the myth dead came to life
And blood shrivels still
What song when they're gone
Shall spread my relief like stars?
Bats drove black the sun.

DIMINISHING HEX-ON-VERSE
A hex on this verse
how could it be worse
tongue in cheek or terse
potion to reverse
a poetic curse
quivered arrows
wingless sparrows
Sphinx and Pharaohs
distant gallows
funnels bend
wordless blend
poems end
contend
pretend

Diminished Hexaverse
The sleeping giant stirred
Turned over on one side
The world was engulfed
By an abnormally high tide.
Tectonic plates quivered
The whole world gave a shake
Before finally settling back
With just a few minor quakes.
Now totally relaxed
The sleeping giant sleeps on
And until he next stirs
The state of peril is gone.

There sat in my chair, a sighting
when the earth quivered no delighting.
Out the window I watched it flow;
down the grade, heaps, icy snow.
The mask of skiers not revealed;
rescue workers rushed in to unseal.
They scattered about with their tools in hand,
dug for life that had a plan.
In all that commotion I did see'
deep the emotion when skiers were freed.

I do not know?
Falling into a fitful sleep
I tossed and turned throughout the night
writhing in agony
I was battling with my inner demons
My husband woke up
and could see I was troubled
he put his arm round my waist to comfort me
I breathed in deeply
quivered
then let out an enormous fart
my inner demon had finally been released
oh what a relief!

candles stir mystique of night
to whirl around lit gazes
dripping on fate's trance awestruck
…by rosy moments
in velvet pier's harbourview--
stardust traces quivered flesh
drenching wax of smooth passion
… as two blazed lips melt

Passion burned brighter
than candle flames
licking shadows on the wall.
A tongue sipped sweet nectar
from cream filled silken folds
that quivered with each libidinous stroke.
Like wisps of smoke, her whimpers rose
aroused by sensual flickering.
Embers smoldering
until luxuria was sated.

He haunts the back streets
hugging the sides of buildings
Unseen, unfelt, unloved
a statistic in a dusty cabinet file
Raising up on sole-less shoes
He sneaks a view from the alley
ice on every windowpane
conversations mixing with steam
He slinks to the edge of town
to the bridge o'er the rushing river
Would God care if he took his life ~
his lips involuntarily quivered

No Other Place But Snow
Alone and
bound of
chill.
Dust of snowflakes
echoed in the air.
Filled of
gigantic ice
heard crust.
Icy ice went down below.
Just
kind of
liquid under a
melting snow.
No
other
place nowhere to go,
quivered.
Restored,
shifted and
took back on that
unforgotten
vast of cold
white snow
'xtremely
yearning below
zero.

This all begun
for no reason,
and it seems
baffling.
Out of the blue,
I glanced at
the moon,
and I fall.
So, my head
turns down;
glancing at
my foot.
Asking myself,
could it be you?
But, no one
responds to me.
No one...
Until someone's
whispering in my ear,
I closed my eyes
While the rhythms
of my heart quivered
faster than before.
My eyes opened...
Dreadful!
