Glistening pristine overnight
Joyful shouts, a child’s delight

An open doorway front and back
Welly footprints forming a track
Frosty breaths, a snowball’s thwack

Excited children with a plan
“Mum, may we build a huge snowman”
Inventive minds used trash can

It’s base, sturdy as a tree stump
Well covered with each snowy dump
Snow head a misshapen lump

A broken toy
Is all I am.

Nothing is perfect on me,
My body shape is to wide,
My smile is to crooked,
My hair is to short,
My legs have to much muscle,
My arms are to small.

Lie on my back 
For the other men to rip,
As they did to my heart.

My halo has fallen of,
I sit and watch all of these beautiful women
Float with such passion,
But I am stuck here
In a world possessed by beauty....
