Winter Frolics

Awoke to see a snowy sight Glistening pristine overnight Joyful shouts, a child’s delight An open doorway front and back Welly footprints forming a track Frosty breaths, a snowball’s thwack Excited children with a plan “Mum, may we build a huge snowman” Inventive minds used trash can It’s base, sturdy as a tree stump Well covered with each snowy dump Snow head a misshapen lump Date 1/19/21
