Misshapen Countenance

earth turned bald.
skyscrapers loom bold.
waste hideously piled.
toxins profusely spilled.
nature cruelly defiled.
we stand greatly appalled!

Valsa, your poetry is very beautiful; thank you for sharing it with us. Wonderful awakening message. Our treatment of the natural world is deplorable, to say the least.

Valsa I love your poem. You have hit one of my angry buttons. It is disgusting to me, this thing we call progress.
