The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Deflated Spirits, Deflated Balloon

Misshapen flimsy mass
Rubbage under foot
Wet with spittle and DNA
Morphing into a Dali
Time melting away
Family needs more
Rubbage on the floor
Unmoving joints staring eyes
Hollow unfelt emotions
Sweep over like a helium balloon
Surrealism opens the chest of me
Deflated spirit; deflated balloon

Oh shucks, I sure can't help but feel all deflated after reading this Doris-- you sure bring your message across well-- and especially reading your comments in mine about hope being there but being elusive-- I think that sometimes we all may feel that way-- hmm can I share with you some of my mom's words? She says, "hope is just a prayer away" and hun, I think she is right :) sending you hugs as well-- & thank your hubby for me please, he is too kind to say that :D made me smile :D
