Leningrad
Meandering through
the cracks of a
Baltic horizon
stripped of
its lunary luminance,
streams of darkness slither
their way through
the calloused sieve of a
monochromatic
midnight sunrise
that unfurls its
featherless wings
over Leningrad

God In Everything
God is in everything I see
From dawning to sundown
He is the one who created the beauty
What lies on all sides of the round
He directs all from heaven's felicity
The whole lot, every bit of whatever
Each and every matter you see
The luminance of God the Father
For his light shines, in its entirety...

Luna's Pale Light
Light shimmered on the lake at moonrise, with a breathtaking view that glimmered. Beneath the glow of Luna's pale luminance, the night was calm on the banks of the firth except for the cooing of a lonesome dove, who thirsted like me, yearning to be loved. Wanderer, Worshipper, Lover
I am the wanderer
the worshipper,
the lover,
a thistle bedizened
roseate deluge
gliding across the oasis,
each of my petals
secreting scents of
scarlet seduction

I am the wanderer
the worshipper,
the lover,
my hymns
brim with luminance
well before the
golden orb ascends to
crown the Syriac date palms
and cast its gaze upon
the apple of my
jet black eyes...

Premium Member Her Luminance
Facing the silent sea,
she stands in silhouette
against the light
of the scarlet sunset.

In stillness
of her stolen gazes,
at seagulls taking flight
she sings ephemeral euphony.

Her dulcet voice
soars like a delicate dandelion~
and finally finds me.

Marilyn
Mystical apparition resting in luminance,

Your name hath altered my passion.

Timidly on now,

I go.

Fervently,

I walk alone.

Calling your name in shadows,

so I will atone.

Oh, it is naught,

for I have bought

a brighter day.

Always shall I stay,

to say:

I shall hold,

like a thousand bold

soldiers. Just to look

inside those emerald eyes....

Lucid
An upside down book’s pages keep turning,
I’m playing dead in a theatre of war,
Luminance weaves into passion.

To sail away into fantasy, to the wraith of tonight.
A connection embraced only in repose,
As lost loves are left wandering the streets.

Acting out scenes to scripts never written,
For the sake of patience, I’ve turned my cheek.

As nearby strolls are of enough reward to ground my careless needs....

Into the Night
I walk alone into the night; into its shadowy silence where myriad diamonds light the sky with twinkling luminance; where its nocturnal clutch conjures imaginary images: wierd, phantasmagoric specters with unworldly, frightful faces. Luna, mother of night shadows beams down through naked boxelders their swaying branches cast below cimmerian moving creatures: malevolent fabrications of my grotesque imagination.

The Grace of Life
"the grace of life"

warmth and more fill while facing the sun
light radiates leaving feelings of harmony
a day without the sun is unthinkable to souls

birds fly knowing their way with luminance
horses run with a breeze reaching their face
whales splash along waters to feel the glow

a lesson learned is to be part of the world
follow light through the nature of animals
face the sun and let the grace of life flow

It Is Called Love
It split you apart
You bled free tears to rejoice
You discovered words in your heart
You found a new self and a devout voice

It slit you in half
It took away your weakness
Superseded it with new wings of life
To fly you to where belonging is endless

It is called love
It is the audacity of a fragile soul walking though a menace
It is a sacrifice for nothing with everything you will ever have
It is the evanescence of hopelessness and a luminance of desire...

Heart Fire
Undeniably this fire sears and scorches
when heartbeats rapidly blazes randomly,
Living proof of shatterproof
Though forever fearing frantically.
Surviving myself the fire
Expressing sparks of embers,
Accepting and devouring whilst
Luminance remembers.
Upon cooling how it singes
For life has been immense
Uncontrolled and where divulged
all-above intense.
Simmer me with tenderness
as meekness will impart-
stability, tranquility
within impassioned heart....

I Wish I Had
I wish I had double-knotted love’s cord,
Table my deepest concerns to the Lord,
Walk beyond the shrivelled meadow,
Look out of the gloomy window.

I was worried about my troubles,
I was concerned about my dark bubbles,
I didn’t want to be together and apart,
Separated by melancholy’s cart.

I wish I had allowed light into my room,
Amplify its luminance and make it bloom,
For the young and empathetic ones,
Willing to consider pairing a gain over a loss.

One Flew West
He walked out in the dark one day
To see a million stars,
The vastness of the Milky Way,
The luminance of Mars.
Roused by a spell he feared like hell
But had no wish to spurn,
In fazed delight he gazed all night
And never did return.

He walked out in the dark one day
To see a million stars.
The elders say he lost his way
And puff on cheap cigars.
The flecks of light they form at night,
Like fireflies in June,
Or pungent smell might just as well
Have touched him as the moon....

Syzygy
SYZYGY

The sun shines bright in all its beauty
Going about its burning duty
Golden rays blaze in heated fashion
Warming the earth in scorching passion

The moon shimmers in rich radiance
Hushing the world with its luminance
Silver streaks glow in muted manner
Wrapping the earth with drowsy banner

The sun is the regal Rex of day
The moon the ruling Regina ray
Two big lights reigning over the sky
Appointed by God to sparkle high

Near faint mountain ridges, upon bends of bridges,

splashes of light tickle as streams below trickle.

Moonlight's expansive flow sprinkles the gazebo.

White canterbury bells absorb sheen luster swells.

Illuminations strum nature's palette spectrum.

Brushed garden's rainbow felts, like dripping oil, melts.

Cottage lights extend to the stream's reflective blend.

Luminance warms our days as fireplace logs blaze.
