Her Luminance

Facing the silent sea, she stands in silhouette against the light of the scarlet sunset. In stillness of her stolen gazes, at seagulls taking flight she sings ephemeral euphony. Her dulcet voice soars like a delicate dandelion~ and finally finds me. 10 June 2021 Modified from my poem, “Against The Light” For Brian Strand’s All Yours (June 10) Poetry Contest 1st Place
