Words tremble
Crisp winds bear burdens
Summer promised, as daylight drifts away
Your heart.... singing in choirs of fading bloom
Hears not

Tears lost and alive
Finding hope with golden moon
Regrets I’ve left holding close
Tremble in my angst

Premium Member Two Poets Named James (Limerick Game)
I've been tagged by a poet named Fraser
He's known as a Highland star gazer
With such passion imparts
Are the poems from his heart
And a wit that's as sharp as a razor

Now it's time for the other man, James
The Soup family cheered when you came
Mr. Goff you've been tossed
Right into the flames
Of Miss Guzzi's new Limerick game!

You are it....James Goff !!...

Oh sanguine

lost hopes

and

dreams

each ornament renews

kisses, laughter, loved ones remembered
each ornament renews
victories, struggles, from bounty to barren
each ornament renews
cradle to grave, sweet memories rush back
each ornament renews
strength to survive, with loved ones near
each ornament renews

oh sanguine

fresh hopes

and

dreams

each ornament renewed

James 'Jimbo' Marshall Goff ( a Limerick)
‘James ‘Jimbo’ Marshall Goff ’

There Was A Gentle Man, Known As Jimbo
Who Had An Exceptional-Voiced, Poet-Lingo
That When He Spoke To The Trees
       They All Dropped Their Leaves
At The Autumn Song of His Classical-Soul-O

For Jimbo ... Because of His Depth of Soul
           Tenderness For Nature
Strong Convictions, Multi-Faceted Triumphs
and an All Around Good Guy

Premium Member Look Past It To Tomorrow
Today, your face and heart may wear a frown
Some one or life has let you down
One lesson I have learned so well
In that dark place I will not dwell
Sorrow may bring to my eyes a flood
And tears overflow and stain the floor
At that moment recall yesterdays so dark
How you survived when hope did spark
If tears must fall, to cleanse the pain
Then let it be! For with hope, comes more gain
Look past it to tomorrow!

Premium Member Phases of the Moon
The scent of Eagles
Shortly after hate-filled
Cantations
Drive you vertically insane

Nearly touching utopia
Engulfed in flames
Your editor suggested options

Including uncovering cemetery
Ashtrays enrobed in trace-water
Marble

Unforgiving
Even joyful I concede

Your mouth dripping fresh-picked
Strawberries

While antediluvian rainbows
March towards certain death
Or nirvana
You
Said

As phases of the
Moon
Dictate
