Look Past It To Tomorrow

Today, your face and heart may wear a frown Some one or life has let you down One lesson I have learned so well In that dark place I will not dwell Sorrow may bring to my eyes a flood And tears overflow and stain the floor At that moment recall yesterdays so dark How you survived when hope did spark If tears must fall, to cleanse the pain Then let it be! For with hope, comes more gain Look past it to tomorrow! *Written for my poet friend, James Marshall Goff 6/29/10

Audrey, this is such a wonderful poem. It flows very well and is quite touching. There is always another day when the sun rises, which is right on point. Yesterday will be gone and tomorrow will replace it with joy instead of sadness. Great job! Joseph
