Christmas Ice

Winter skaters on Christmas' ice
 steps slippery glossed in-flight, nice
slide and glide from ice to snow
 shiver, shaken, frozen toes
fell on hidden nests of field mice.

Premium Member Infinitude

I, the many
a harlot's realm, betrothed
to the light, each door a seed

yet, eyes
ever glossed in overtones
of harmonic gaze
deep within her strings

and enter anew
in silence...
... raw

A single shot while hunting ruffed grouse soaked my socks a deep sanguine against the snow.
A kiss to your broken lips glossed over the fine-looking lies we let slip onto the story of your indiscretion.

Slip sliding from chilled breeze
Slivers of flurries waltz
Softly mantling old trees
Silver-coated by rain:
Snaking down down glossed yard
Soon...frost will enchant you
Smile! Crystals peck your cheeks.

Stunning tail-light of eve
Sweeps across the heavens
Streaked with chrome blue tassels:
Swift the leap glossed by dust
Spin of Hailey's Comet,
Streams quickly... then fades off!

The River Line

Majestic river tumbles down
gleaming glorious in dawn's rise.
Herons surface glossed in onyx
sprayed by cascades of polished jade,
and I curl boughs in pleats canopied wild
on bank of prayers rolling to meet sea.

Daydream

The scarred desk, littered
with the wrinkles of young,
melts into chocolate

canary
easter bunny
birdsong

My ear mutters
"Are you there"
not able to finish

my homework
grinding
pepper

she reduces herself to glossed lips -
they gloss over everything

dull
turn on the light

Frozen Memory

I climbed the face
     of a lightless dawn
glossed in silent frost
     between
wanting
and
     knowing
naught.

From above fell my tears
crystal
     upon your eyes turned
beyond.

I watched you out of sight
and
     left you there
on the down side
fading
     into yesterday gone.

at the glossed rainbow
sky and grass held varied hues
bright days were foreseen

vast mood umbrella
nature's smile turned upside down
in green ecstasy

from the stained rainbow
I saw teal world was changing
and pink flowers smiled

in gold altered mists
I found my happy outlook
sizzling saffron sun

Loyalties Curse

A safe lie to make,
   outweighed T-Bone stake.
A fassad way to fake,
not for Heavens but your sake.
Concrete ankle drowned bottom lake,
no more time to never awake.
Live nightmared body shake,
   blind eyes glossed opaque.
Ice cream flavored frozen cake,
   ungiven life chose to take.
Now you gotta live with that mistake,
if I die before I wake...

''Balance''

~The youth,such soft supple skin.
Play yet a steady reminder of how maturity takes a toll.
All the while she sits, smiles only to transcend reflection in the mirror.
Her hair streaks silver.
Through decades, every milestone has been met.
Laugh lines set deep.
Eyes glossed over like film.
Still, elation brought fourth by a glimpse of a grandchild, can not be measured.~

Bitter Sweet

There she was
just a few feet away

Glossed lips
Powdered face
Faux lashes
Contoured cheeks

We locked eyes
then she looked away
cold and distant

Maybe she was
tempting me
to walk in her fire

She was sweet
like sugar

Sugar is what tempts us
pouring upon
our wildest fantasies

Sugar gives us cavities
rots our teeth
our soul
our world

It seems
vanity is
always in style...

Blue Glow

Braving storms, push and pull piercing my
Parched soul, while glazed in flaxen mists
Framing lingering dew drops
Consoling my warped core,
As I drift amidst
Sweeping mistrals
Calling me
To the
Blue
Glow
Of our
Ocean home,
Swaying to tides
Eclipsed by sundered
Coral sighs glistening
Upon glossed ripples bleeding
Devout love encompassing my
Frigid heart, seeking the warmth of you.

Miss Palm and Her Five Daughters

Miss palm is gracious
She glitters like glossed sequin
On a gay night

With a little fragrance
She would be fairly like

Her five daughters are
Idiosyncratic characters
Sent from above to show we mortals
What's beauty

And together: The darling daring palm family

Like a shadow on a sunny day
My companions
In the park, on the street
even in the dark of the night

But be wary of Miss palm
and her five daughters!

Artemis

There’s nothing goddess-like
about those moonbeams
silver glowing arch
not of your back
soft and inviting
but of your bow
cold and piercing
silent slayer.
There’s nothing to adore
within your face
gleaned from marble
glossed immortality
as you condemn with
opal eyes.
There’s everything wrong
with my animal lust
stag in mating season
wanting your body
more than life itself
denied by your
virginal lock.

Premium Member I Wish

I have wished on the morning star
to help us find the way we've lost,
the kindness we gave without cost.
The love...it now seems very far--
a ship that's lost is what we are.
Beliefs have become wildly tossed...
I have wished on the morning star.

Entered fantasy--door ajar,
have ideas that in past were glossed,
a line that now can't be uncrossed.
We continue into bizarre...
I have wished on the morning star.

A Spring That Swept In

In a spring that swept in nothing but frost
Breath bating, waiting, no warmth did it bring
Lifting spirits stalled with chilling exhaust
In a spring that swept in

No rays emerge like young sunshine offspring
Our patience was low, now seems all but lost
Each degree lower with less hope to cling

When our page turned, nature over us glossed
Like a bird flying south missing a wing
Halted we're here when she's ready to sing
In a spring that swept in

How could hands touch with
such tender velocity!
Eyes, with bolts of lightning,
electric.
Yet have the softest, velvet
synchronicity?
That WestCoast night, hearts
bound and eclectic

Your arms about my waist,
in the windows, fog-glossed
reflection.
A moment’s, Monet’ sacred
masterpiece!
That cried out for human creation.
Of you, of me, to bring to life,
a being in God’s own time and divination.

Choking On Bourgeois Mind-Control

abstract endings pacified

  pedestrian beginnings,

save yourself before

             you're slap-happy,

 choking on interloping bourgeois

       mind-control subterfuge

under a darkly cast spell of

plebeian sugarcoated reality,

  waxing tween whitewashed rainbow

        hues and unicorn attitudes,

  beyond uncompromising comeuppances

from behind unglued glossed over walls'

                congealed mid exoneration's excuses

Premium Member Flora

Oh lush flora, I watch its parade
Sashaying through woodland mead and glade;
How new blooms quaver…adorned with grace
That every trail rules this courtly place :
Lustrous the mural, the birdsongs swoon
A chant hailing rebirth of life's tune;
And peonies orange waft, awake
Their trimmings enthrall, how I would shake!
And never will this portrait be lost
When Maytime dreams are heavenly glossed!
