Choking On Bourgeois Mind-Control

abstract endings pacified

  pedestrian beginnings,

save yourself before

             you're slap-happy,

 choking on interloping bourgeois

       mind-control subterfuge

under a darkly cast spell of

plebeian sugarcoated reality,

  waxing tween whitewashed rainbow

        hues and unicorn attitudes,

  beyond uncompromising comeuppances

from behind unglued glossed over walls'

                congealed mid exoneration's excuses

You return, Paloma, refreshed and as strong as ever:) Here I am left mulling over conventional attitudes, conformity and makeovers. A poem which leaves us open to interpretation. ~ Regards // paul

Well now that you're back, I'm pacified, ready to be controlled by the anarchist. LOL! No conformist in you, the poem says so. Didn't know we were plebes though. I knew we were peon and pawns. Plebes ... okay that's new. Very original poem in your own inimitable style, Paloma. Well done. Love always.

And then I saw a sign that read, "Pick a line, any line!" And I couldn't because each one floored me. Should I just repost the poem here in this little box? I will not be led to this beginning or end but some stupid sign...but following you and your poetry, get the kids out of the driveway, here I come. Amazing Paloma...

"Sugarcoated mind control" I don't believe I've ever heard it so aptly described. I'm with you, Paloma. I missed you and was going to soupmail you. If you had not shown up today I was going to ring you. So wonderful to see you:)

Completely irreverent and I love it. Shake those Ivory Towers, Paloma, we are all cheering from down below.
