....you leave a poet inspired with a longing to write again
But, with all the love
I don't know where to begin
I was cautious
Of seeds of the fruits
While eating
Until
The flesh of a fruit
Knocked down
My teeth
16 February 2023
Some find him vain
others, without a brain
Yet to me, one thing is plain
DJT keeps us entertained
uncontrollable
overflowing embankment
lunacy fires
China has it under control
Trump continues his hyperbole
Trump dares not admit
He's a lolo twit
The source of our soaring death toll!
The silence of your speech,
it was for me the absence
most glaring and further
deafening
that in this life I harkened
and felt... !
Springtime has arrived,
And so has her yellowing;
Shading everything:-
And when her rains have fallen,
Yellow puddles spring up; achoo!
Paralysis of the esophagus
when occasioned by asparagus
Can be frighteningly perilous
and even worse, embarrass us
I was clean shaven when I
spotted a snail going by
I watched for a while
as he went half a mile

Circular movements giving rhythm to the phases of my life
in my dance twirling and senseless

He smirched them
unchurched them.
Now lives in hell a man quite quaint.

So, next Olympics, he would not be late,
He came down again in twenty-eight.
After 2 years of recrimination and denunciation, where are the remains of the children buried at the Kamloops Indian Residential School?
Anyone?
I sat, uninspired, in my condo.
When on TV, no routine John Doe
Flew above a balloon
And then over the moon,
That amazing pole vaulter, Mondo.
There's a young lady named paige.
Who kept her bird in a cage.
That bird was missing.
The cat sat grinning.
She said "Dad, I need your gauge."
When poetry cannot convey
everything I want to say
I’ll swap her for another genre

Death
IN POETIC RELIEF
Laying here musing,
I feel as if an ice cube
Peeing in warm thoughts:
My poetic cistern filled,
I now pour out this to you:-
